About this creation
Just before Lego put the kibosh on the Design by Me program, I had designed a Nissan Xterra kit with the LDD (literally, the day I finished the program ended). I own an Xterra of my own and I have become quite the enthusiast. My dreams of owning my own Lego Xterra had been squashed, as I had also by that point donated 99% of my childhood Lego, so I didn't have much to work with.

Then Lego released the 4433 Dirt Bike Transporter, which does have a passing resemblance to an Xterra, at least it did to me. I then discovered Bricklink, and the rest is history.

I have always been interested in third-part Lego offerings, so I bought a few accessories and decided to build a police Xterra. Additionally, since I am a 4x4 enthusiast, I modified this Xterra with aftermarket-style bumpers and armor.
