1966 Batmobile scale 1/43 (3 versions)
This is a car I wanted to build since a long time probably because I never received the Corgi model when I was a kid. When I saw the theme of the 61st LUGNuts Challenge (The Great Chase) I thought this would fit very well. And I also wanted to build a car for "Cars of The 1960s" group and "Pre 1975 Car Contest" . I had some ideas on how I wanted to do it but knew it wouldn't be easy. I tried 3 different versions. The last one is the most detailed and realistic. But I thought you might like the others too. By the way, did you know that the producer of the TV show bought the 1954 Lincoln Futura prototype from which they made the Batmobile, 1 million dollar.

Sorry, I somehow missed this - not on Flickr, but here. It's all very stylish, NPU everywhere. I especially love the use of the technic part at the front (2 & 3) and the design of the sides with those modified plates, that's a great idea.

Wow, that's so cool, I didn't think that this one was possible in such a small scale! The first one is my favourite (especially the front) and I really like the wheels of the last one. Very clever parts usage on the rear windows! Great job! :-))

attempting this car is just a nightmare, I like the first one, although I d really remove the red extentions of the body on the sides, but, honestly, aside from orion pax s model, it seems impossible to catch the elusive strange shapes of this car, it must be radar proof or something, it looks unmistakably like it s counterpart, but, it looks more strange than beautiful, still, a very decent effort on this impossible task. on a different topic, can you keep this scene for your futur model presentation vinny? it looks great!

Holy Guacamole Batman! Fab job - one of your best models yet. I wouldn't normally give a 5/5 for something of this scale, but you've nailed it : )

Yes, the third version is absolutely the best. (awesome wheels!) I don't think Adam West could be any more different from the Batman we have today, but he definitely got to drive one of the coolest versions of the Batmobile.

Excellent. I like the front from the 1st one the best, and the rest from the last one. So I think you should make a 4th version! Fantastic job anyway!
