Who doesn’t like SpongeBob? I know I do. I got the idea of building SpongeBob because I saw on the internet SpongeBob Lego was coming. Also I had a small amount of light-green bricks lying around, that I never used before.

I first made the eyes, because they would determine the scale. Every white 1x1 brick and most of my 1x2 bricks were used in the eyes, along with all of my white plates. The eyes where a project on there own really!
When I was halfway through building, I realized it had not nearly enough yellow bricks. So I decided to only build the front, top and one side from yellow, so you could still make nice photo’s. And so I did!

Design errors I will point out (so you won't have to ;)

- two white 1x1 bricks fell out the eyes and I forgot to put them back
- SpongeBobs pants are grey instead of brown. I don't have many brown bricks.
- Look at SpongeBobs right arm (the one hanging down). do you notice something odd?
The thumb is pointing in the wrong direction, whoops!
By the way; I have got no idea howm many bricks I used, your quess is as good as mine.

A close frontal picture.

A closer look at his eyes.

A look from the side, the yellow one:)

Some arm detail.

A shoe close-up.

I've never really been a fan of Spongebob, but I can say for sure that this is incredible! Definately a lot better than LEGO's version (which is sadly becoming a modern trend...) Anyway, great job, keep it up!
