Classic Space 'Pocket Money' Entry
Now with real pocket money action! I bought it from myself for $2.99! (Gave myself a 20% discount, too)
About this creation

Starting off with the awe inspiring action of: Space Beacon!

Some details of the sensor buggy.

Missiles, you say?...

... nope, just canisters of yellow. This is Classic Space, you don't need missiles.

And one nice overall shot.

And here's the 2nd set out of those same 58 pieces.

A whole trailer full of yellow, good for windscreens and various arrays.

And vacuums to keep the buggy firmly on the ground.

And even more gauges and sensors than a Spaceman can dream of.

Maor yallow!!!

Some spare bricks from that set. Idk why I took this picture to be honest. Don't know why I bothered posting it either. I should just delete it, but then you'd have no idea what I'm on about in the caption.

And one more, complete with some new wheels. And a satellite, for satelliting.

Satellite, with a giant heat-sink/ computer tower/ space column.

More like a space wheel chair than a buggy, but still fun once it gets over 20 mph.

The spaceman amongst his supplies... what will he build next?

Design: The adjustable front dish array looks functional and useful in a CS way. Not sure what the yellow tubes are for. 8 Piece Selection: There are a lot of nice pieces in the set. The second alternative looks maybe rather like a revisit of the main model but the CS wheelchair pulls it back. 7 Playability: Lots of nice hinged and detachable elements. Not sure how well some of those illegal connections would hold up under play conditions. 7 CS Factor: It’s CS but with added humour. You push the design into a self-knowing relation with itself that ends up beings a pseudo exploration/function (and very funny). Although not the best CS rendition it takes the spirit somewhere else (especially in the wheelchair alternative). 8

A neat & simple buggy design. I like the stacked dishes on the front sensor. Not sure that the seat is very CS, as it stops the spaceman from wearing his air-tanks. What is he breathing? :) -8- Some creative use of the parts, especially the radar-dish wheels and the coupling on the trailer. All of the builds are buggies. It would have been great to have seen a hovercar or speeder in the alternatives. -6- I think that this build has lots of options for play and imagination. Driving the buggy around, detecting things, using the containers… The build looks quite strong too. -8- Great use of the CS colour scheme, though purists might quibble about blue on a vehicle (I don’t!). I think that the multiple wheels give a good CS feel too. Lastly but most importantly, there’s a load of stuff that looks very useful but has no obvious, fixed function: classic Classic Space! -9-Total score-31-

I'm not a judge in the competition, so I'll keep my review brief. I like the concept, you've definitely achieved the classic "look" and the two modes work brilliantly. Some of the building techniques are not legal though, and as such I couldn't imagine this as an official set.

Quoting Halhi 141 Looks really nice; all of the models are great. Though I noticed an illegal technique on the first one...
Then you missed the 2 on the 3rd set. And the one in the 2nd set. =)
