Hey everyone... Now many of you have probably thought I've fallen off the face of the earth... Well I did, but I'm feeling much better now. "I feel like taking a walk now." Anyways I have been busy with other projects but thought I'd give you a update on my latest W.I.P -The Marquis. If any of you have followed me I have had two other W.I.P of the same ship but failed horribly. My Third try will be finished soon. Hope you enjoy the pics and of course I will be photoediting the pics as soon as the model is complete.
About this creation

Diamond shape Framework. Since the Name The Marquis.

Reinforcing the Superstructure

Command deck above

Beginnings of Fighter bays on the lower hull.

More details and future bays.

Main Lauch Bay

Lower fighter Bays complete

Front and Back sections side by side

Massive engines. There will be 4 engines on top and bottom of hull.

The Marquis is a total of 54 inches tall from tip to tip. The 2 structures are also identical meaning they will be connecting back to back completing the Marquis. Before I proceed with that phase I will need to finish all the detail work and also building a stand for her as well. Party because The Marquis will not be able to stand on her own. You will also be able to see The Marquis at next years Brickworld as well as the first Gen Light Cycle I will be making.

Hope you enjoyed

Thrilling stuff, dude! That's an interesting shape you are creating there. Menacing and elegant at the same time. This will surely find its friends at Brickworld. And hey, it's good to see that I'm not the only floor builder out here! ;-) Man, keep up that great work! ~Marc

Thanks Parrington... Well I have no excuse, I've been a lazy bum for to long so I had to try to stun you guys again. But that's up to you. I'm just glad my third try on the Marquis is coming along better. My last two I gave up on. Glad you liked it. Later...

Quoting David Roberts Fascinating, strange, alien and interesting shapes. The finished product will be brilliant and very original.
Thanks David glad you liked the progress. Most of my models are from my sketch book. So I guess I need a few more ideas from the archives.

Quoting christophe corthay What I can say is : AT LAST !!! You know that I've been following you and I was wonder this project.....I'm happy to see it goes on and you didn't give up.....and it looks very promising !!!
Thanks Chris... I'm glad to I didn't shelf it. The problem was with superstructure at first. But building it in two sections has been so much of a help. Then I can lay it right on its back, both sections and work upward. I hope to have this done soon. Thanks for checking in.

Quoting El Barto ! Have two MocPages windows open. Go to the Add a Lego Creation, upload the pictures you want, and highlight the code. In the second window, hit Edit Your Home Page. Drag the pics over from the first page, and badda bing!
