CCCX Pursuit in Blackhand Bay
This is my first entry to the Miscellaneous category of the CCCX.
About this creation

A Loreesi war galley rams an Outlaw vessel

The backs of the ships as they sail through the bay.

Yursuff!!

The Outlaw boats flee and the war galleys are in hot pursuit.

The dreaded shores of the Outlaw swamps.

The Loreesi shoot deadly liquid fire at their terrified enemies

The pursuit.

The scene without the boats

And again..

Alternate main picture.

A closer look at the action.

Though the outlaws are not outnumbered by the Loreesi the larger ships and superior training and weapons of the Knights of Loreos make them more than a match for any rebel vessel.

I like nothing better than palmtrees and war galleys filled with knights! ;)

At this point I got tried of writing descriptions.. ;)

But I hope you enjoy the Moc all the same. :)

Oh, Be sure to check out the Video!

Thanks for viewing! Have a blessed day! :)

Thanks a bunch guys! :D These comments make my day!
Quoting J Man Mark, you are a mad builder my friend! This is just an amazing build. I love how you keep true to your landscape and boat style but shake it up with different scenes and stories. What really gets me crazy for this is the way you did the water with the change from light blue to dark blue and back to light blue, really gives a wave look and the white/clear along the shore looks great too... I havent been too active with MOCpages and building in general really. Which is why I have not been able to participate in the CCCX so far. When does it end? I have been looking at your other entries and Im sure you'll get the master builder award for sure. I gotta ask though- how do you have so much time to build all these? Because I've just been so bogged down with school I have had 0 time for legos. Maybe during Christmas break I will be able to...Anyway sorry for the long post but I wish you the best of luck in the contest! 5/5 - J.
It's all to frequently debated whether i'm crazy, a robot, or have an army of clones to do my bidding. ;D Heh heh... Thanks man I'm glad you like the build! :) The CCCX ends on new years so you still have time if you want to enter! :) My work schedule is pretty loose, meaning I can have several days of free time, and there are advantages to being homeschooled. ;)
Quoting A M The beauty of the ships is matched only by the beauty of the landscape... the water is so vibrant and the rocks are brilliant. I am constantly impressed by your ability to continually churn out builds of such great caliber. Keep this up, and you're a shoo-in for Master Builder! P.S. I have been planning to purchase a lot of those trans studs to do the same thing you did here... or a similar thing. One castle builder to another, any advice on where to buy, what colors to get, etc? Much obliged, A M
Thanks man! That's very encouraging! :) If you are lucky enough to find transparent studs at a LEGO store that's the ideal place to get them, But if you are like me and don't have any in you area I would definitely suggest Bricklink.com. way cheaper than the online PAB. If your looking for a good store, I just bought from these guys and they gave me a good deal on the pieces. http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=TheBrickGuys

wonderful done ;-) ! the water is just genius with the dark and light blue, to get a feeling for the wave and the deepness... the landscape (as always) impress me. in the front is a little section which looks like "hanging" to the water - that's brilliant ;-) !

the water technique is expensive, but, oh, so gorgeous! I ll have to get some too someday, as it looks very organic, the rest of the landscape makes me want to build 'the beach' movie scene, as it compares, it s awesome! the ships are superbly designed, a masterpiece!

I love it Mark! Another great entry! The story is great, and your loose stud water technique is amazing! One question, is the sails made by the Lego company?

Wow! This is another great build. I, too, love the way the ships are rocking on the waves and the ships themselves are well designed. I like the guy in the barrel, too.

Lovely water technique. The sense of motion with the rolling ships is pretty sweet. I also like your rocks and foliage, as always.
