MELO-Round 1- Crossing the Green River
This is my entry to the [hopefully] Annual Middle Earth Lego Olympics I Will go ahead and let all the pictures go ahead and talk for themselves enjoy.
About this creation
Here is a Link to the group.

Green River is just to the East of the Mist Mountains and, a little ways West of both the forests of Lothlorien and Mirkwood. Here we see four friends traveling together heading West toward the Misty Mountains in search of Goblins to battle =)

Hope you all liked it thanks for looking please rate and comment.

Okay, I guess this is pretty decent, but the rocks are weird, and there's black stuff in the river. The rocks should be, I guess filled up? That way it sustains a regular look to it. I don't know even know what the heck is in the river. But it's still pretty cool. =)

Quoting Aidan Moon It qualifies, so no worries there. But you did get your directions mixed up. If it was east of the forests, and west of the misty mountains, it would be in two different places. It is fine now, it makes sense. Although lore-wise, you would get a better score from me if you had actually made a scene from the lore.
Well ya I can understand that thnx for being willing to let the build qualifie I can definitely understand your concern about builders messing with M-E too much and messing it up but please believe me when I say I have the deepest respect for Tolkien and his world that he created and I will do my utmost to stay within in the guide lines of the competition.

I like the use of the tree stump, but the water isn't that great...

Quoting Boarder Ryan Decent little build. The stump is LEGO; I have the same one. I think it's from the old Wild West sets. MAN, that wooden fort was fun to build.
Ya one of my older brothers used to collect western Lego's =)

I'm going to say this as a judge and a Tolkien fanatic. For one, your geography is all wrong. But I won't even go into that. I don't believe this is exactly what Ian had in mind when he said it could be semi vague, but if he's OK, that's fine.

I used the map from the book my Geography is on I think I may just not have specified what part I was building and Dude Ian said pretty much anything from the land of Middle earth so I'm pretty sure this qualifies

Quoting Daniel Henson Well, the water could be a lot better, and is that bottom of a tree trunk even a LEGO element? 2/5 DH
Okay well I know the water could be better but this is a purest build man its all Lego

Yes and no... Yes, it has Gandalf vs. Balrog, but Khazad-dum isn't the site. At least I finally have a design I like!

Quoting Garrett A. Nice job Legion! A quick message: be GLAD you didn't try to take on building a Balrog for an entry. Those things are tough, I can tell you from experience.
Haha are you building the battle scene between him and Gandalf?
