This is something I've been working on for months & I've hit a point where I'm going for a redesign, so before I crumble this beauty for recycling, I thought I'd post it as a WIP.
About this creation


I'm quite proud of the cockpit.



It has some echos of the Eagle lander.




I'm fond of the greebling. SNOT top, bottom & sides.



This time I got started with the interior. But I need a redesign to make it taller & wider & more durable. As I've been building it I've had to add this bit of extra support, that bit of additional structure. I'm going to simplify some of the basic structure, this one, in some areas, proves too fragile.




Opens up.



More greebling. Notice the fold down hatch, easy peasy, but effective.



The tricky, complicated, fragile engines, that's where I came to a halt.



And here in it's home, away from the kids.
