Classic Space Binary Track Rover
Based on the original Classic Space sets. Before Lego discovered the great concept of "two tone" paint.
About this creation

The halftrack cabin. Cozy.

The advanced coupling system.

The advanced decoupled coupling system.

The box. Quite a big box. Not very off-roady, this. I tried scooting it about on the sofa, it just kept toppling over.

Egads! It's a Decepticon! Run!!!

Oh wait, It's just a boxy computer with a bunch of knobs and gauges and sensors.

The giant sink bed of the halftrack, and some extra controls.

The odd, but effective doors. Not really useful considering the Spaceman won't fit through the opening.

Oh hang on there Blacktron agent, I just have to disassemble my truck first. Gimme a second.

Doubles as wings. Must've had a Red Bull. Or an Orange Pangolin.

Thank you so very much for visiting!

Oh yeah this is extremely cool ! The truck is so cute, and the opening laboratory is very well done. Excellent !

I like the technical innovations in this build: the little tracks and coupling arm to the trailer. The roof which opens, obviously to let fresh air in from space on hot and stuffy days, is great too!

neither did I, but, it looks very good, you see, that s the thing about that color scheme, it had green trans, wich looks great, but, the only trans green I could get now, would probably be with 'lego education' boxes, I m thinking about it, as this looks fab, the opening box, the sculpting of the truck, and those tracks, very nice combo, I never tought about this wheel-track combo, very well done senator, mc!

I'm old enough to have actually seen old communication and radar equpiment! My dad was an air traffic controller and all your box electronics reminds me of the old radar systems! Classic! Love your commentary too! :)

A nice little vehicle. You should make a swarm of them.

Very classic, perhaps if classic space man lost a bit of weight ? Love those Pangolins...

Trans green windscreen on a grey build with red wheels, what more could you ask for. The door perfectly captures the supreme utility of CS. And just a box with computers-surely that's an advanced mineral analysis station?

Now go look up Pangolins. Do it. You should, they're amazing. C'mon. You know you want to. There are wants and there are needs; you NEED to go look at some Pangolins. Go forth and view them! They're adorable.
