Mustafar
This is a set that I made using only the pieces from Jabba's Sail barge. I think it turned out great! Sorry about the pictures, they are from an iPod touch. I took these before I switched cameras. Enjoy, and God Bless!
About this creation
Let's start with my favorite part, the entry!

Here's the locking mechanism.

This opens and locks on to the stud on the right.

Here we have the smooth plates that let the door slide open!

You can see that the path for the sliding door is grooved so it stays in the right place.

open

open and locked

closed and locked

Here we have the entrance without the door. You can really see the grooves here.

This is how the door gets its power to open, by these wires.

Dark

Light

This is how that was done. There is another "door" go get through! These also open (of course)! Open

Closed

Here's how I attached these doors

Close-up on the overhanging teeth!

Here is the turret. Much more powerful than the set. This can be moved to where it is desired. It can rotate 360 degrees and also be able to quick change directions by the swivel element (I don't know what it's called, see the following pictures)

This is the piece that I was talking about earlier. If the turret is turning one way, then all of a sudden it needs to move in a different direction fast, it can get it done with this thing faster than with the 360 element.

As you can see, this turret has lots of maneuverability!

Here's how I made it curved looking!

The place to buy the weird and mysterious!

I really like how this section (the weird and mysterious) turned out to be! notice the pot on top of the technic element? I thought that was funny!

Now we have some over, under, and structural views.

Now we have the breaking platforms!

I hope you like it as much as I do! God Bless!

The build is a bit chaotic. Good design though and detail, especially nice work on the platforms.

Quoting Builder Allan Cool! Indeed, very good use of pieces. Also some quite nice details, like that turret and the doorway with the horizontal doors :-) Thanks for the invite to your group. I will have to decline as i don't really build any superhero-stuff. Sorry :-)
Oh okay! Thanks!

Quoting A M Nice work! Great accuracy to the source material, especially considering you only used pieces from a single set. That's a unique and innovative way to challenge yourself-awesome job!
Thank-you!

Quoting Seamus Morrison--on winter break! Nice work David! Was this meant to look like the original scene? If it was, it looks really close to the real thing!
Thanks! I still have to add in descriptions for some of the pictures.
