the municipal service fleet
About this creation
This is part of why I did nt finish yet.
the buildings where in this state in their storage unit

you can also see how I work,
as I add parts and wait until I have enough to start

on the kitchen table again...
with my tools and material,
all I had to make it work.

the black parts in front of you, is what it costs,
to make a single layer on this building.
in green and orange, it makes the venture expensive!

this is what I had in double orange,
note the wheels near the roof,
it s for the roof plates movement,
for cargo containers ect, access.

the building used to be 19' + 1 plate high,
I added 2 layers more now.

I tought this image would show well what we re coming to here,

have you noted the polar bear surfs?
it s close to what they would have to do to survive in the future,
depending on where you live, maybe you re next...

if we don t want this green patch to be all that we re left with,
we better find some ideas.

or it will get lost in the traffic...

I salute and congratulate the people responsible at lego,
to give us a recycling theme line to help find something!
I will buy all kits in this genre and animals!

this is the first recycling truck that started it!
I of course modified it to fit Cybercity s needs.

it can now pick up containers,

and dump it inside it s storage bin.

it s designed to swing fast, lol!

this is realistic a system,
but, it cost me big headakes, for the building.

this is the recycling road-train, I wanted a r.t.
and tought it would look awesome orangeade, lol!
as concept, it s to pick up the materials, inter-city,
and re-distribute the 'new' raw material.

copy this, and it will be collected in your city, lol!
these are the containers, I have a dark green one,
but, it s temporary, as soon as I get the new towing with dark red car,
I ll fix that.

this is the new recycling truck kit on the shelves,
I customized it so that it does nt need a lift,
I was dissapointed with the color scheme a bit,
as the included green parts,
where lighter than the usual tone,
I have none of that green, it is why I have a dark green cover on the r.t.

I also had to change the 'bins' s color, as they were dark blue,
I used the dark blue panels for my metal team.

this is the heavy towing, it s designed to haul big rigs, [pumpking rage]
if you wonder what it is doing here, it s to recycle vehicles,
that s why I did nt change the color code!

this is the sleigh, [plate-forme]

designed for bikes, and low ground vehicles.

this is to show how it really works.

note the 'security' hook to stabilise the cargo.

this is the max load capacity.

the electricity truck,
the first city vehicle I bought for Cybercity!
it goes with the power station, but, it s servicing, is at the municipal garage.

it s designed to service lights, phones, in the city.

the garbage truck,
well, after I bought the recycling truck,
I figured it was natural I do it too!

same dumping system, so, I solved for 2, lol.

I went back to the fleet s frames to get the same front for all vehicles,
to give a 'brand' feeling, to look realistic.

the aqueduc truck,
I added a blue line on the sides, to 'label; it as water related,
I m not sure it works you tell me.
this truck goes with the water treatment facility,
but, is serviced at the municipal garage.

the holes on the sides are to plug hoses in,
water pumps are integrated in the truck s box,

many tools are in the box, to cut hoses, lines,
some pipe junctions with valves, ect.

street cleaner-sewer service truck,
this truck is equipped with an in-built vaccum to suck the sewer dirt,
and clean up the streets, it has 4 machine guns, hidden in the box,
criminals don t stand a chance... lol, oups!
no, just the facts, just the facts, it cleans the streets.

the dirt gets in there, it then goes at the water treatment facility,
to be reused, and purified.

it is one of the 2 vehicles that has the traffic light sign attached.
you can see the valve to dump the water, or pump sewers.

this is for el barto, who asked to see more of this helico,
it will be featured in the cargo freight post.

CREATOR S LOG;
I think I pretty much covered the city services now,
a hearse is about the only thing missing,
I hope I did nt choke you with ecology,
it s just that its where we re coming to,
and it s dear to me, I m a passionate man, lol!
again, any suggestions appreciated, I ll finish the building next,
a bit of interior is left to be done, maybe another night up again, lol!
mc to you all! [m.c. merry christmas!]

Okay, it took me a while to track down what you were talking about, I had been using only a tablet. Yes, the chopper is a crafty and compact design, but still conveys that it can lift really heavy stuff! Like bins full of catalogs!! Awesome! |

Lots of great stuff here, the vehicles and the building are very nice. (IMHO it's too much for just one MOC, you can't take in all the details, rather separate this?). Anyway great work, Merry Christmas! |
