About this creation

Rescue 1 is a 1986 Kenworth with a Saulsbury walk-in rescue body. Rescue 1 is powered by a 425 horsepower Caterpillar Diesel engine. R-1 is equipped to handle all sizes of emergencies, from small MVAs to complex technical rescues and Haz-Mat situations. It is equipped to work on water rescues as well, thanks to its SCUBA equipment and raft.

In the first compartment, general rescue and extrication tools are stored. The second is home to a winch and boom rigging as well as the RIT kit. The third compartment holds technical rescue equipment and vehicle stabilization tools. The fourth compartment stores the dive rescue gear. The rooftop compartment contains Haz-Mat equipment.

**NOTES**
Rescue 1... I wasn't feeling the beast anymore. Too clunky. So I built a new beast! It holds all the same equipment with a shorter wheelbase and (what I think is) a nicer-looking body. Even better, now it fits in the new station! I enjoyed this build. Sad to see the old one go, but glad to have a more maneuverable and better-looking rig in!

great truck, I can t wait until you make emergency stories with it, in your last post we saw your fire station, I would have loved to see it more! it looks good, I made my first emergency post with medic one, it would mean a lot to me if you could comment it, and help me keep it realistic, if you see something that is not right, I still miss the smaller fire unit, [4'-5'] I m open to suggestion on what I should use for my city situation, I just finished the recycling center, I ll post it tonight, mc james!
