The Fire Ninja Jedi Adventures. Episode 1
Welcome to The FNJ series 1, episode 1. I don't know how far this will go, but I have plans!
About this creation
This is my contest entry to the Anual Sci-Fi contest/group. I chose the category: story/comic

Darth Overlord stands....waiting....when he hears "I have arrived, Overlord."

Darth Overlord: *short evil chuckle* You are right on schedule Shragar.

Shragar: Am I ever late? *they both laugh* Here is the DNA from the padawan. (he shows Overlord the box)

Darth Overlord: Good! Now give it to that medical droid.

--Shragar walks over to the medical droid as instructed.

Medical Droid: Just in time sir. Now I will extract the DNA digitally and place it into a regular droid's computer system. Then place the upgraded headpiece onto the Combat droid body.

Shragar: What exactly is this new droid?

Medical droid: It's the DMC Elite battle droid. The Digitally Manipulated Combat droid. It will follow every command you give it while being smarter and more agile than a clone trooper!
Once I finish the upgrade Darth Overlord will copy my brain and download it into a factory so that all old droids will upgrade to DMC Elite Combat droids.

Darth Overlord: If this works, we will destroy the Republic forces! Ha ha ha!

Meanwhile, the Fire Ninja Jedi (also known as Master Dave) and Commander Flint receive an incoming message from Commander Rex.

Rex: Master Dave, do you read me?

Dave: Loud and clear, what's the situation?

Rex: We have located the stolen starfighter belonging to the padawan on the planet Mustafar. I already have some clones positioned there. We need you and Commander Flint to go there and investigate.

Flint: We're on our way!

--Master Dave and Commander Flint reach the squad of clones on the planet Mustafar.

Rocket-blaster clone: We have located a strange and isolated facility. We believe that is where our mystery person is. Should we move in?

Dave: Let's go! But move quietly, we don't want to be noticed.

--Suddenly, there was a jerk in the movement of the DMC Combad droid.

Shragar: It's working!

--Darth Overlord brought the droid to the edge.

Darth Overlord: Now, show me how well you've been upgraded; go out onto these platforms on top of the lava.

DMC: Yes sir!

--While that is happening, Master Dave and the squad of clones are trying to break into the facility.

Dave: Any luck?

Clone: No sir, this seems to be impenetrable!

Shragar: I'm going to watch this DM whatever droid from the starfighter.

--the door starts to open

Clone: Wait...oh no! The door is opening, someone is coming!

Dave: Quick! Get out of the way!

--Shragar walks down the steps towards the exit.

Dave: Now!

--Dave and the clones rush out with their weapons ready!

--Taken by surprise, Shragar quickly runs back into the facility, leaving the jedi and clones to face some super battle droids.

Shragar: The jedi have found us! Close the doors!

--BOOM! The Rocket Blaster Clone blasts open the folding doors, creating smoke and confusion for the droids around them.

Flint: Don't hold back!

--Master Dave jumps into action, slicing a battle droid with his lightsaber and force-pushing another.

--A jetpack clone shoots a droid from the air.

--The battle continues as there are still other droids left.

--A droid shoots the rocket blaster clone.

Flint: get that droid!

Jetpack clone: All the droids have been destroyed Commander.

Flint: Good...take the rocket blaster clone to the gunship.

--They then go to the edge just in time to see Darth Overlord and some other strange fellow go into some sort of small hanger.

Dave: That's Darth Overlord! What's he doing here?

Flint: and that other guy must be our mystery man!

--Dave, Flint, and the two jetpack clones jump onto the lava platforms when...

DMC: Halt jedi!

--The DMC droid shoots down the platform that Master Dave was on

--The DMC droid then shoots down the other platform of the other clones.

Flint: What is that thing?

Dave: I don't know, but it doesn't like us!

--They advance toward the DMC droid who tries to shoot Master Dave.

Dave: You're cornered, surrender!

DMC: I'm not done yet!

--The DMC droid drops a bomb onto the platform they were on and starts to attack the jetpack clones.

--The jetpack clones were no match for the DMC droid.

--The DMC droid jumps over Master Dave while shooting one gun at him, and the others at the second jetpack clone trooper.

--just then, Commander Flint shot two of the DMC droid's arms.

DMC: What?!

Flint: You won't get away!

--As all of that was happening, Darth Overlord and Shragar were arguing inside the small hanger.

Darth Overlord: Thanks to you, the jedi have found us!

Shragar: How else was I supposed to get here? I was put on this mission alone!

Darth Overlord: Hmph! Now this secret project won't be able to be completed! That medical droid was the only way possible to get the factory working, now it is destroyed by the Republic!

Shragar: You mean, I went through all of that, just to see the DM whatever droid project come to ruin!

Shragar: No! I will go myself and save this project! I'm not letting this go to waste!

--He jumps into the lava speeder.

Darth Overlord: It's no use! Only THAT medical droid had the capacity to transfer the DNA! It's over! Again, thanks to you!

--Enraged, Shragar speeds away.

--Right after the DMC droid was shot, the lava speeder races up to the scene.

Shragar: Jump droid, jump!

--The DMC droid jumps on to the Lava speeder.

DMC: So long, Jedi!

Flint + Dave: No!

--Dave moves the rocket blaster trooper onto a safer ledge.

Flint: What do we do?

Dave: Search the hanger!

Dave: Strange, it looks like a scanner that lets you inside this hanger.

--Master Dave uses the force to open the door. He draws his lightsaber.

Flint: What's that back there at the edge?

Dave: A helmet?! This looks like the helmet on our mystery man!

TO BE CONTINUED!

Thanks for looking! God Bless! I hope you'd like like it and then comment!

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 I agree that the floor was too colored, and a bit too dark, even if it s the bad guys, try to keep it light, or lighted, I like that you have a lot of droids, maybe you should have diluted them a bit more, but, the floor was responsible for the confusing pics, I m sure, check my cybercity stories for fun, I liked the story a lot, the customed robot was a great concept, the lava was nt too distracting, the text was beleivable and entertaining, good show!
Thanks for explaining the floor thing, I didn't understand it when John said it, but you explained it well! The floor of the set is that color because it was an alternate set from Jabba's sail barge. Otherwise it would have been different.

Quoting Beardless Dwarf Good job! I really need to stop following comics. This will be the fifth or sixth one that I follow! I hope you make more and please check out my series!
Thanks! I hope to do more soon, but mine probably won't be as often as other comics. I might be able to do one once a month. Sure! I'll check it out!

Cool story David, now onto the marking. The Scene: The main base where Overlord resides is quite cool, however I disliked how the ground had a different coloured ground, i.e. brown, tan, black. Building a smaller, more colour accurate MOC can be much more easier and effective. Also where we first see the clones on the island, possibly making just one island could be easier make it more efficient as I disliked the gap in the middle. Same with the fight with the DMC droid. Figures: I felt that the scene was very messy, perhaps taking rid of some battle droids and clones. The DMC droid was quite nice though. The Story: The idea was quite original and the outcome was nice. Overall: 3.8/5 Nice to see someone venture into a harder category. Well Done David

Nice comic! I like how you ended it with a cliffhanger. I sure hope you make more comics!

Thanks guys! For the ground, it's lava, so it would be red instead of black, brown, or tan. For the gap, I wanted a gap of lava. Not really an island. Sorry I didn't specify that. :)
