Oh, that is brilliance! The use of Gollum in the head is just fantastic! Don't know how I didn't comment on this when I fist saw it! The recliner-brillaint as well! I love that it can really recline! Me, I would've been lazy and made it a boring chair. ;D 5/5! ~Sarge |

Brilliance. Sheer brilliance. That PU is the best I've EVER seen on MOCpages Ian. Oh, and a funny thing: that comment you put on all us round two-ers that said we made it? The comment on mine pushed it up to my most popular creation XD. |

He does look like sebulba. Are you planning on joining the mocathalon this year? It would be great to have you on my team. If you can't, or would rather join a different team, that's just fine too. Still, great moc!
I'm not currently planning on playing in the MA, but if I do, there are some others I'll have to check in with first. Thanks for thinking of me though, and for the comment! |

Thank you Ben! Haha, I totally had that same "Leg Inception" thought whilst I was working on the write-up. I guess great minds think alike, eh? ;) Hopefully I'll be able to keep branching out in this direction, but the build felt kind of like an out-of-the-blue lucky find, as it were. We'll see! But no matter, I'm just rambling now. Thanks again for the encouraging words my friend and a Merry Christmas to you too! |

So many new and great techniques in here, Ian! The legs within legs (Leg Inception!), the christmas tree, the recliner, and probably the most brilliant: the gollum-head technique. I have no idea how you came up with that idea but it worked splendidly! The hairs on gollums head made a great 'stache. And the quote was truly amazing, not to mention that fact that this is named after your grandpa, that is very kind of you. Overall really awesome build! The animated cartoon ish feel in this reminds me somewhat of some of Riccardo Z.'s works. I hope to see more of these in the future! |

I think the fact that you experiment with techniques is great. Not enough people are reaching for a better build these days, they rely on special minifigs and pieces to make the build, or simply resort to stacking blocks to get the build. This is fantastic! Z |
