F-40 Blue Hawk
Flying death.
About this creation
First aircraft I ever made, and I have to say, as a little eighth grader back in August of '07, I was quite proud of it at the time.

Cockpit

Back view of the engines. and tail wings.

A view of the connection between wing, and body. I really love how this part came out.

Bottom front of the F-40. The 30mm cannon is the black dot. Also the front landing gear.

A total bottom view of the Blue Hawk.

Bottom view of the engines and rear landing gear.

Bottom view of the right wing, the right air intake, and the right rear landing gear.

The pilot.

Right wing.

Left wing.

In reply to Alex: Thank you for the review, but as I stated on my homepage, i do not give out instructions.

Quoting Josh Guilbert comment on my F/A-77 Haven Fighter please.
Don't mean to be a nudge, but it's generally considered impolite to spam other people's MOC's with requests for them to look at your own creations, something I've seen you do on at least one other person's page besides mine. Of course, thank you for the comments, but still.

30mm GAU-8??? that gun would be to big for this plane to carry all US planes use the 20mm Vulcan

Quoting Andrew P i like the look of it, its better than any aircraft I ever attempt...but it's too small. Also, it looks too much like a tiny F-14. Vertical stablizers are almost always angled nowadays.Plus 1800mph is wayy too fast for those wings, needs to have extreme delta wings to go almost mach 3, and your rate of climb is like a single engine prop plane. Overall looks like you know your stuff, i'm just an aviation buff...you probably know more than me to be honest.
Thanks for the comment. Again, I wrote this as a twelve year old, and I've decided not to change anything, for the nostalgia purposes.

Quoting Andrew Calvert Pretty good! However, you got 2 things wrong. 1. A small aircraft doesn't guarantee a low radar return, take the F-18 for example. One of the smallest aircraft in the US arsenal but it generates a radar return (frontal) of 31,000 sq. ft. (yes, I know, the F-18 isn't nearly that big together, but all the individual parts the radar hits generate that return)!! 2. Fighters should be worried more about A-A fire than SAMs. Great fighter!
Haha thanks for the comment. I built this about four years ago, so the description comes from a little twelve year old me, so yeah, it's not accurate in the slightest. In fact it's probably hilariously inaccurate spec-wise, as you pointed out. xD

Ok, so are calling me out on one typo when you have several misspelled words!? That's not cool, man. Anyways, great creation. I like this missiles underneath the wings.

Looks good, but since it´s a little small, I would describe it as a jet trainer maybe... Steffen

Great start, but it looks awfull small if you ask me. I use the Stud=foot ratio, so in this case, that looks like about 30 feet long. The F-22 is 62, and the largest fighter, the Su-27, is 71. I have an ok Stealthy F/A-18 replacement, so when you get some time, check it out. I think if you lengthened the Bluehawk to about forty-five studs long, canted the tailplanes, and swept the wings a little stronger, it would make an awesome fighter. Great Start!~Jack

looks cool, but there's no way it's better than a raptor, and the canopy should be sleeker
  October 11, 2007
Pretty good looking, but saying it’s better than a Raptor is a joke. The strait wings would give good roll, but would take a heavy toll on aerodynamics, such that it would never be able to Supercruise (break Mach 1 without afterburner) as the Raptor can. This would appear on radar about the size of an F-40, while the Raptor appears about the size of a House Wren. The F-22 is about twice the size too, at 63 feet. Matter of fact, the smallest fighter in the world, the Saab Gripen, is 48 feet. It’s a fairly neat fighter (despite the size problem), reminds me of the Tomcat, but it’s not a good replacement for a Raptor. I must say it holds lots of promise though! Keep working! -- -- Michael

Lol orange pilot. This is cool and has inspired me to make my own fighter jet. You did a good job!

Stubby looking, but nonetheless impressive. Hopefully, that might just help it against a squadron of MiG 89s. That thing might be effective, but the Fender can deploy rapidly and unexpectedly, allowing it to engage and eliminate a threat before you can say "Northrop Grumman".
