Designed to travel across solar exposed areas of outer reach planetoids. The rover has specially tinted glass to protect its prospectors from solar radiation. The twin controlled arms are capable of extracting and examining mineral samples and analysing them in situ. Data is quickly relayed to a nearby mainframe for close scrutiny and economic validation.

I don't know why but vehicles with lots of wheels, a hinge in the middle, big radar dishes and claws are just so classically Classic Space to me. |

Yes I'm stunned how many people wanted to get involved in the contest - I think you could call it a success. |

Great solutions for both "canopies sections" ! The most awesome detail is what you've done with the modified plates above the wheels. Very original and cool. A totally awesome MOC (oh and did I mention that I love the square front ?)
Those little mudguards were my little bit of invention here, glad you noticed them. |

Awesome idea and awesome execution .... Do they use it for plastic droppings also ? :P
It went to town on my daughter's creator beach house, analysing the palm tree. This was not popular, some knights were deployed to see it off. |

"She" looks fabulous! I'm not sure why, but the fashion by which the cockpits open up is my favorite detail... :)
The sun roof (or should that be solar radiation roof) was a favourite bit for me too. |

Nice work with both of those cockpits; they really make this rover go the extra mile!
I really wanted to use the yellow hinged cockpit in the inverted position, and I think it worked. |

Diggin' the 'specially tinted' glass. =] Way to add on the the shape of the stock windscreen with all those nice yellow bricks. Very neat all around.
That was how I always justified the various coloured glass windows as a child. I just couldn't accept that the windscreens were yellow or blue because it looked cool. Mind you I also had a fantasy that Lego had super computers that designed CS without human intervention. |
