This was a fairly quick build that came from an idea I have had in my head for a long time. The design is rather simple It was just a lot of fun. Please take your time looking and enjoy.
About this creation
The Sea Dragon. A monster of its time. A long spindly creature with no other purpose then to torment man. It comes in the night and attacks ships, breaking them like toothpicks in the water. After many a year of terror of this vile beast, a knight unlike any of his kind sets out on a journey to slay this mighty beast. The hunters set out and sure enough that very night the beast attacks. Many men were lost, and the Sea Dragon attacks again and again, every ship falls until its down to the last stand between the valiant knight and the nightmare, the beast.
Thanks for viewing everyone any pointers are always appreciated please let me know what you think. Thanks
I think the protagonists in this scene are going do die. There is no hope for them at all. I think they should leave ASAP otherwise it would be too late for them. Great scene set in a fantasy setting that sets the stage for the imagination.
It might have been a fairly quick build but there's some great imagination here, plus some nice bits of water-work in the splashes. I like the shape of the Sea Dragon's head and the way that you've arranged the curves of its body. The broken boat and swimmers are a nice touch too, which really add to the sense of danger that the mini-figs in the surviving boat must be feeling.
This is brilliant, Justin. Love the crafting of the monster. You have given it the illusion of a scaly body and the head looks downright deadly. Nice touch with the oversized teeth. Adds a bit of menace to the beast. Well done.
