Custom made FDNY helmets
Today i made some shields for the FDNY helmets. Then i decided to made them completely new. Here is the result. The shields feature the company number, rank and name of the firefighter. The yellow markings are made with reflective vinyl. Hope you like them. Thanks for watching, enjoy it. ;)
About this creation

Main picture from left to the right: Chief, Chief with helmet and turnout gear, Lieutenant, Firefighter

Here are the decals for the helmet shields. You can copy and paste or doing a screenshot of it for personal use. Don't have the time to send it to everyone via e-mail. Hope this is okay :) Note on this pic they are bigger as the printed ones. You must reduce it with your graphic program as example paint.

Thanks for watching ;)

Nice, can't wait to see them. Thank you very much for your nice compliment and nice that i could inspire you. Um, i think it's possible in the future but not yet. Hope this is okay. Normally i don't upload only the minifig collections. But i'll think about.

Quoting Private Tommy Gun That's really awesome. hey can you tell me how to paint the helmets??? :)
It's really easy. you only need a brush, some old round bricks to fix the helmets on it, and black enamel paint from revell. Clean the helmets, paint them black and let them dry. The yellow markings are made out of reflective vinyl which i cutted and sticked it on the helmets. The same with the shields. They are selfmade stickers. Thank you very much for your nice comment :)

Quoting Emergency Bricks Well done Sven, those came out very nice, my printer often has trouble printing so clearer at small sizes. I like these a bunch. I also like your including the nomex hood with the firefighter in full SCBA, I actually was going to purchase a few of those heads when I saw them myself :)
Thank you a lot buddy. I'm glad that you like it. Too bad that your printer has trouble with printing such little things. My is a HP all in one. Btw, have the nomex hood heads from some Ferrari sets. But had never before the idea for using it with the scba and my firemen. So i used them for the first time here ;)

One request. You dont need to rate it again if you rated it once. It's not fair for the other. But thank you again :) Here is a interesting concept for your city i think. A extinguishing robot called LUF 60 Löschunterstützungsfahrzeug in German. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%B6schpanzer Hope this link will work.

i d like help from real firemen to develop fire equipment of the future! to help save men, it s serious, but, i d like to consider all possibilities even the unlikely, i ve been impressed in the past by some russian equipment; 2 jet engines, mounted on a tank chassis to extinguish oil fires! wow! i never recovered since, i ve seen it in action, and it s very impressive! check it out, you ll love that! lol!

wow! the helmets s look like candy, and realistic, i guess the sheilds have to do with them, but, you know, i looked for portable sheilds a couple of secs, now, i m thinking it would be a great concept, what do you think, how related are you to fire depts? is it a passion or do you work as a fireman? i m not sure you re aware i m trying to find the ultimate fire equipment to prevent firemen lost i guess 911 had it s toll on me too, lol, as i d love to go to the future, would you help me sven? i like the sheild concept, what do you think? would it be practical?

My hands are the machine ;) Made it with paint on my mac, then i print them out and stick it over with Sellotape. After that i cut them out with a sharp scalpel and a metal ruler.

Hab vielen Dank Marcel.
