Yup! A review of the Brain Attack set, Ogrum!

About this creation

Here's the bag! Ogrum is one of the larger sized sets.

The pieces. Brown and dark green!

Bone pieces. Nothing new here. Smaller body piece and longer lower bone pieces.

Some technic pieces.

The gunmetal grey pieces. Mace and armor detailing.

Brown pieces. :). Paw and claw pieces in brown. Mini Piraka spine pieces in brown.

The dark green! Finally new dark green pieces. :)

Ogrum head. Very menacing looking.

Transparent green. On the far right you can see the new faceless head piece. I think it's more odd but more usable for future sets.

The beautiful parasite! It's made of the rubbery plastic and looks fantastic. It's much bigger than expected too. Lego did a great job on this piece.

In the instructions there's a comic for the Brain Attack theme. Looks pretty cool.

Very cool lookin'!

This is one of my favorite areas. I love how they made the skinnier body piece look so bulky! The build flows very well through here.

One of the things I don't like. It's odd the put the claw piece on the middle part of the bone.

From behind. The back of the body and legs are open, while the arms are covered pretty well.

That parasite piece does not want to stay in. :(

O: I feel so short.

Everything together.

Ratings:
Pieces: 9/10 Dark green and brown!
Design: 7/10 Some nice areas, and some to improve on. Mainly getting the parasite's tail to stay in.
Value: 8/10 Not a ton of parts, but parasite makes up for it.

Overall: I'll give it an 8/10, pretty good set, worth picking up!

As a bonus here's all my intact MOCs (minus Infernum, who's in my phototaking area).

Thanks guys! This is my first review, so I'm glad you like it. @ Vored The parisite is a VERY cool piece. I don't know what I'll do with it, but I'll do something. Maybe a monster to attack minifigs?

That's a very nice review you made there! I always thought that I need his face for a MoC I'll build, but all those brown pieces will also be very useful. This is a set worth buying for me, even when I don't keep the character build. I don't know what to do with that parasite piece yet, but maybe it comes in some use.
