This is Walvrin, the Kru'Udi Toa of Earth. Originally built for a contest, later became the spark for my Toa team. A true brute. This is Walvrin. My Toa of Earth. Poseable fingers and a slightly bendable back (forward and back). Known as the brawn of the six toa in the Kru'Udi series (a series of augmented toa). the Avohkii is basically the same as the Ruru if you think about it power and ability-wise. Anyway, I threw this together over the course of 3 hours just before i took pictures 5 minutes before posting for the contest because I had forgotten about the deadline.
About this creation
Occupation: Kru'Udi Toa of Earth
Side: Order of Mata Nui; Hand of Artakha
Height: 7 ft
Metaphor: Brawn of the Kru'Udi
Some great Toa are born. Others, made. However, the Kru’Udi and I did both. We Kru’Udi were born, similar to the Toa Mata and later created. Very similar to the Mata, we were unaware of each other upon arrival, let alone the world around us, yet everything was strangely familiar. ‘This is truly odd...’ I ponder as a simple unknown Toa of earth, ‘I have this feeling that I should not be alone.’ As I bring a large portion of earth around and behind me, light breaks into my sensitive eyesight. I deactivate my Ruru to see better. My eyes adjust to the sudden light to find myself in the shade. ‘Why the Fikou is the world so darn bright!’ I climbed out of my tunnel onto the lush, soft and cool grass. A sigh flows through my body and my muscles relax and my shoulders drop. My head swivels as I observe my surroundings and watch the wildlife swing from tree to tree. I spot an odd creature. uncannily similar to my body. But thinner and green, as well as obviously more agile. I look for a way to get a closer look at it but my plan is thwarted by its surprising speed and swiftness. I give up the curious plan as my curiosity grows in other places, namely the locale. It looked like a forest, but it was definitely a small one because I could see a way out on all sides, save one. They weren’t close, nor were they far. I headed the direction of which the egress appeared closest. Docks and water, meeting with a long and deep beach. I could not see very far inland. Apparently I also stuck out like a diamond, for much smaller beings crowded me with questions in a language I knew. These small beings had similar forms to me and ‘the green one’ but these were brown, tan, yellow, orange on other colors in that spectrum. I soon got acquainted and accepted their generous hospitality in the desert city they called Po-Nui. Finally, one asked me for my name. My face and mind went blank. ‘Wh-Wha- ‘
‘ Sorry, I couldn’t hears ya’s’
‘Walvrin’ I say. I felt it kind of fit me well. I liked it, so I kept it.
‘Walvrin, Toa of Earth!’ they all cheer.
The Turaga later decide to augment the Kru’Udi after we established ourselves a team. The Kru’Udi consists of Stull, as Stone; Valox, as Water; me, Walvrin, as Earth; Lukiil, as Air; Kroulli, as Ice; and Hamae, as Fire. The Turaga decided upon this plan with our consent. The idea of genetic augmentation was conceived as a result of Kroulli' genius and Stull’s severe lack of patience for training. That is the story of how I got here now.
