Tower 91 replaces Tower 27 that was severely damaged in an accident in the middle of 2012. The apparatus committee was able to meet with Pierce and decide on a rig that met the needs of the department but was also able to have a quick turn around to delievery.
Tower 91 is a 2012 Pierce Velocity PUC 100 ft rearmount PAP, with a 1500 gpm pump and 250 gallons. Tower 91 is also sporting the new paint scheme for the airport fire rigs. All rigs will soon be wearing this scheme.
