a complete tour of Cybercity s public transport station.
About this creation
Cybercity s public transport station is the ticket for tourism,
it can service;
trains, planes, helicopters, small space ships, buses, taxis and limos.
mr DUVAL is station s chief,
he s the one doing the tour,
his general attitude is best described as a 'mad hatter'
as he watches every second of his watch frenetically...
Mr Griswalt! you re doing traffic here!
this does nt help my schedule here!
You have special guests here mr duval, besides, the train is empty,
this is only an exercise.
The buses are coming!
I am sorry for inconviencing your guests mr griswalt,
but, I face the same traffic problems mr MERCURY has to face,
the passenger train blocks all north traffic to cybercity.
When you add the taxi traffic...you re in a mess!
Then make it quick, my associates and I aren t on vacation either!
ok, well, the 1rst thing to know about this station,
is that it was designed for tourism in mind...
the top floors have landing pads, [x2]
and it has an air-space port,
+ a toy-souvenir shop!
It is located close to the hotel, and the bank,
atm, and a very fine restaurant in the hotel,
the suite is particularly popular with stars!
bicycles for transport is highly encouraged in Cybercity,
you ll find racks like this on both sides of this station.
Although the train is fast, there is faster, birds, planes, and...other things...
you ll notice the lights on the tracks to warn residents and animals of train traffic.
oups! the loco covers them, trust me on this one, it s safe!
as this is the north end of the city, the back of the station is close to the forest,
many animals come here for food and curiosity,
they are very appreciated here for tourism!
As I mentionned before, the north end is completely blocked on both ends,
the debarquing has to be fast and efficient!
we also service mail and precious goods too,
it takes some time to sort this too!
the protocole asks for the passengers to clear before mail is processed.
This is the station s interior,
it is obvious now, why the wagons have to be this standard,
as, longer would cause me even more headackes!
I wondered about that!
As you can see, it can accomodate a lot of tourists and travelers,
it has to cover many needs.
Most customers for air travel will use upstairs, but, ground users will
wait mostly here!
This is my personnal post,
the mail and precious cargo transfers are part of my responsability,
no good news for my nerves, you ll understand!
Youll notice that the water mains are doubled on this building,
we handle rocket fuel here!
we received the GF distributing machines last week,
it s always good to feed the customers,
it makes them more patient!
In your backs are the travel itinary computers, where travelers can
plan their itinary with schedules prices, hotels of sectors ect,
you ll notice that there are automatic paying machines around,
so, that they don t have to pay to me,
I m busy enough already!
This gives you an idea of the clearance the passengers have for debarquing,
it s mostly 20 customers, so, it s enough,
As the cargo freight depot, this station is equipped with 'blast doors'
in case of explosions, fire, or crazy locomotive succion effect!
Another efficient way to make customers patient,
is to dull their brains with tv!
so that their brains don t revolt!
On the sides of the elevator,
you have more distributing machines,
lockers, and luggages storage space,
some extra fire equipment is available here too!
On the debarquing dock, there are tools for light repair,
and communication tools.
This station is well equipped for servicing.
Meet mr grendell!
he s ticket man on the train!
He also makes security on the cargo-mail wagon.
Here, let s go to the 2nd floor!
only 2 fit this elevator, but, you can watch tv in the meantime.
Here, we are on the 2nd floor,
On the other side of this elevator is a small terrasse, with a bench to relax!
Here is the air-space port facility entrance.
Here you have the travel office agent, luggages service management,
the pilots, and plenty of seats for customers,
As underneath the interior is still a little spartian,
we lacked material to finish the carpet, and some more tables will be added.
The toy-souvenirs shop entrance...
Again, the shop is to be polished a little more.
I m on to it!
Still, it has the essential...
Now, we are on the roof, the landing pads area.
Each pad has a man assigned to it.
they control and communicate with computers and light sticks,
the system is of course linked with CENTRAL!
The pads are well protected and equipped, binoculars, walkie talkies,
and new water cannons!
We also re-fuel all air-space vehicles!
This station is now fully operationnal mr richmond!
Ready to cash the tourists in! lol!
CREATOR S LOG;
I m finished with this last big building, and trains,
now, the hotel!
expect me to redo the landing pads in the future,
it has to do the big planes too!
Cool! Very well-equipped station you have made, great work. I like the architecture, platform section, vending machines and that red version of the tourist bus :-) Nice tour too by the way, a good idea for showing the details of the build.
My father (may his soul rest) was a bus driver for Triboro Coach which has been incorporated into the MTA and drove the Q 29 and the Q 38 Buses. When I was younger I used to meet him at one of the bus stations. He'd charge me the dime to get on and I road with him all day, the dime was worth it - I had him take me to WHITE CASTLE for their hamburger sliders! So this MOC brought me great memories!
