I present to you The Fell Beast! The vile steed of the Nazgul!
I am in the Orthanc Bracket.
About this creation
Category: "Wraiths on Wings"
The Nazguls' mounts aren't limited to horses! Undoubtedly a distant relative of flamingos, build us the fiend beast(s)!! And remember, your entries ARE NOT required to be mini-fig scale...just sayin'
Link to my amazing opponent, Luke!
The MELO.

First off let me say, I love this guy! By far my favorite creation I've ever made! I had so much fun building him! :D

And I've got to say, I love how he came out! It was challenging, but fun! Thanks to the judges for coming up with this awesome category! :)

His beautiful face! This took a while, but I think it came out perfectly! His mouth can open, but I forgot to get a picture.

I love hte body and legs! His claws are posable. :)

His tail. :). Love the spikes! It, like the neck, is built around a flex tube, so it's super flexible!

From behind!

The stand! I think this really adds to the MOC! :)

Those eyes!

The rider. :).

The wings are also very posable! The took a while to get right. :)
Creator's Comments!
Thanks so much to the judges! This was so much fun! I love how this MOC came out! I think I might need make more some dragons. ;). Good luck to my opponent and all the other competitors! See you next time! :)

While your 'fell beast' is more the size I imagine from the book, Luke's build quality just beat you here. You have played well! |

Dear Infernum, you have been invited to be a judge on a new show called brick factor. We judge this way: when someone puts a creation in the group we judge it by simply saying it is good enough or not. Then if they advance we judge those. The top 20 will advance first then go to top 15, 10, 5, 2, 1. We have to wait till all the entries are in to judge because we can only pick 20 or whatever amount it is for that round. It starts when the MELO ends. Will you accept?
Sorry Nate, but I don't have time to be a judge right now. Thanks for the invite though! :) |

Wow, this was a very close decision! You both did your job perfectly. If it was only the Fellbeast's body, I wouldn't know who to give my vote, but your opponent's amazing wings design made the important difference, so that he has my vote now. Good luck with the other judges! 5/5 for the build.
OK, thanks! I agree, Luke made some great wings! :) |

Perfect! I love all the little techniques you used; VERY creative use of tires. The little base if my favorite; how did you balance it?! Great job!
I did't need to balance it. It's just perfectly balanced. :) |

Very cool! I like the use of the tires for the round feel of its neck and tail! I like the spikes too, they add so much! The little part underneath the dragon does add! I like how you progressed the spikes from the hand, to the small spike, to the big spikes! Yes, those eyes are superb! Excellent!
Thanks! |
