Storybook Display: Sir George, Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan
About this creation
Once upon a time...I started building this storybook display to accompany Literature Day at my school. Months later, two more major scenes are finished. Here is the first:

It's the world of Peter Pan, the Seven Dwarfs, and Sir George and the Dragon (or Smaug, if you prefer) all mashed into one!

The Black Pearl will need to receive a custom finish to become Captain Hook's ship.

Cue ominous music.

Dwarf mine without stalagtites.

Too many studs showing still. They're pretty much hidden from the front, but I may go back and cover some more.

Consider this post a WIP, since there are still many areas needing polish. Stay tuned for the next post as soon as I take the pictures!

Great to see more from this series, and this instalment's even better than the last. Love the dragon, reminds me of Smaug. My favourite thing is the rockwork in the Peter Pan MOC though, the angles are incredible. Great work!

Quoting El Barto ! I think I see where you're going next...
Think layers. I'm building this setup to go in a display case with a bottom and four shelves. This is the bottom, the first shelf will have a waterfall and a castle, then the gingerbread house, then Jack's beanstalk...I should post my concept pictures. It might make more sense that way.

That is a wicked awesome Dragon. I like how you built the eyes and the shape using those curved parts.

That's a WIP? It's amazing! So many different elements and all of them well realised. The dragon stands out for me but everything else is excellent too. I like the umbrella under the waterfall, nice idea!

Did my humble storybook creations inspire this? It was so wonderful to see this theme explored! Where's Wendy? And you've done them on such a large scale! BRAVO!
