My 4-wide model of SEAT's facelifted Fiat Panda MkI, the Marbella.
About this creation
I originally wanted to build this one for the "Cr... Car Contest", but didn't manage to finish it early enough. As it really isn't a beauty I only continued to work on it when I had no other ideas for a cool model. So it took quite a while until I finished it.
The Seat Marbella has never been a beauty, but it was one of the cheapest cars on the German market for some years, so it became the first car for quite a few pupils and students here. My cousin had one, too, and it took us to a lot of partys in that time. So there are some great memories connected to this "ugly duckling" ;-))
I made the greenhouse section the same way I had suggested it for a Range Rover model Loek Marcus built.
Rear view: Not spectacular, either
With a view changes on the front you get the original model, the Fiat Panda, also sold as Seat Panda before the facelift.
This is my 4-wide model of the "not so beautiful" Seat Marbella. I hope you like it anyway ;-))
It's actually a design a lot more clever than any Ferrari or Porsche. On a sport car, everything is possible and easy, because they sell for a high price. Popular little car are a lot more difficult to study, because they're designed for a large market and have to be cheap, roomy, economical and practical. They may be disliked by a lot of people, but I like them ^^ Nice rendition, very recognizable.
