Old Engine 28:

On November 15, 2012, Engine 28's firehouse got certified by the fire department as the new HazMat Firehouse in District 1. Engine 28 received a new Rescue Engine (specialized for HazMat equipment) to replace their old engine (2010 HME 1871 SFO) because it was too small.
Old Engine 28 will be the new Engine 50 (when Engine 50's new firehouse get completed).
