The 1976 Porsche 935 Turbo.
- Flat 6 turbo (single) engine
About this creation
EDIT: New pics added 27/02/2013.
Cars is now finished. Full tiled, reworked front wheel arch, differential that lacked before, fonctionnal accessories belt in the engine, new exhaust manifold and a lot of other new details as fuel caps, better "hips" air grids, new steering wheel, new tail lights (now translucids).
It's a highly modular platform than can be dressed as you wish, a lot of kind of 935 or 911 "large body" can be done from this basis.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the 1976 Porsche 935, still in WIP statuts but you can consider it is 95% done.
I only need some black parts for rear wing and tiled plates to "finish" the body.
A direct evolution of the 1974 Carrera Turbo that had made the show at Le Mans 24 hrs, this car is the new weapon of Porsche to shine in the Groupe 5 category. Basically, that's an heavily moded 911 Turbo that produces 600 Bhp.
The 935 will become a large and great family, spiting fireball from their turbo system on worldwide tracks up to mid-80's.
This moc has been really difficult to built cause i was to much used to prototypes. But, as soon as i have been able to reproduce the rear suspension, it was good.
This moc has:
- Flat 6 engine, turbo system reproduced
- Shocks at each wheel
- Steering
- And of course, martini livery: paint scheme of the winners!

Awesome! Great work on a complex body shape. The details are also top-notch. |
