Eris
Eris the eagle from the "The Legends of Chima"
About this creation

My entry for the BBCC #64 on BZPower where you "have to build an animal-themed warrior. It can be an anthropomorphic animal, like in Chima, or it can be a more human warrior in armour that represents an animal (like a knight wearing animal-themed armour)."

So I thought about the Chima action figures that will be released by summer. One of those figures is a larger version of Eris . Now the action figure of Eris didn't look quite feminine so I thought it would be perfect to make a more accurate and improved version of Eris.

The model itself can balance on the legs without the stand but with the slightest movement it falls over. The zamor sphere on her chest represent the Chi-orbs from the Chima story.

Personally I find this MOC one of my greatest yet. For some reason I’m satisfied with almost every aspect of the MOC. Except the studs on the wings, I can’t hide them because then I exceed the technic/system ratio which is 65/35.

Do you think you'll do any more Chima characters like this, outside of the contest? Because I think (and I bet other will too) that you should continue. Fantastic MOC nonetheless.

Very pretty, especially the feet and the head. I like how you did all the accessories too. The head looks like a similar method to the one I used for my eagle, but I like your method for making the look of feathers better. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on my eagle too.

Wow! This is astounding! Extremely well done! This is probably one of the first few Chima Mocs out there!

You're mean, now I'll feel dissappointed when I'll buy the ultrabuild set. )= Amazing, stunning, perfect, my dear. Love specially the feet.

I'm not much into builds that need a prop to stand, but this was worth it. Killer job on the legs and claws, and also on the head. Good luck with the contest!

This is incredible! The chest armor is awesome how you used the spinner crown and the weapon is perfect. Your styling techniques are sweet. Good job!

I'm not really a fan of Chima (It's basically a rewrite of Thundercats from my understanding, just a little more whimsical.) however, I'm totally liking this. The macro figure of this character looks amazing. :)

Excellent MOC right here! Those custom legs look great-very birdlike! And that head is...wow. Seriously amazing stuff. Keep up the good work! ;)

Great work. I wouldn't actually worry about the studs on the wings too much, besides, additional weight may cause balancing problems I'd suspect.

Nice entry. I think you'll be fine on the System amounts. Good luck. :)
