About this creation
Hi everybody!
This creation was made for the Self-Moc off Tournament.
The task was this:
Fictional Hero”
Take a preexisting fictional hero from any sort of literature, movie, etc, and use it as a template for your opponent’s self-moc. This means you should pick somebody who represents, or has similar colors to, or is otherwise similar to your opponent’s self-moc.
And I had to build Will "Cub" R.'s Self-moc, Varren. Here it is his:

And now to mine!
When I first saw that he has a cape, and he is black and silver (and blue, but that was too much for Zorro) I realized that I have to build Zorro. A Hatless Zorro. But why? Because (I haven't got the talent and enough parts to make a hat) Zorro lost it and Varren hasn't got too.
As You can see, he has a sword. But no hand on his arm. Like this, his sword is more poseable.

And now without cape! Not too cool...
Without armour. Yeah, disgusting.

Aaand size comparison between him and Black phantom. Yeah, he is tall.
In my opinion, I don't like Zorro's legs, but I couldn't built better for a human!

Very cool looking, the chrome mask really pops out! Too bad you didn't give it a poseable torso, his fencing poses would have been greatly improved. |

@Ro - I've gotta say, a hat would be really hard to pull off well, even for Matt. Sure, you could make one easily, but making a hat in a way that looks good when attached to the MOC is difficult. Also, I think he sort of made the mask with the silver area on the Ruru. |

Gotta say Potu, think you could have done more with your Zorro. A hat would have been simple to do, a guy of your skill easily could have pulled it off. If not a hat, at least his mask. Otherwise, he just looks like a caped guy with a reaper. He didn't have much, that's all Zorro had as an identifier. An for the hand, the hand design I use would have worked perfectly for reaper use. Other than my nit picking, Not a bad MOC, as usual with you Potu. ^_^ |
