Venom vs Spiderman
When I initially made these 2 models, the idea was to have them fighting each other. I could never really get the poses the way I wanted them, so I opted to have a beat-up and tattered Spiderman.

Dude! Love how you handled Venom's claws and fangs, Shawn! Basically everything about the Venom model is fantastic! He looks so menacing and hulking, like he's not even close to being finished with beating the... everythings... out of Spidey! Great work, man. Your stuff is always so inspiring to me...

I love them like I do all your work - when art meets Lego, we all win. I feel like the figures are bigger than I think they are - a reference picture or dimensions would be great.

Quoting Mike McCooey Very Nice work! I use the same technique on my shoulders, great minds think alike! Just curious how pose-able are the legs?
There are ball joints in the leg to hip connections. The ball joints are offset and are towards the back of the legs, basically the top half of the body is resting on the upper thighs so there really isn't much movement in that area. The knees have two each of the large click joints seen in the AT-AT sets.I just posed the knees where I wanted them and built around them. The support I made at the base of the ankles allows the feet to pivot and bears the weight of the model. Thanks for commenting.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Oh man these two look so awesome. Words are trying to be typed but my brain is failing to communicate with my fingers. Oh, here's a good compliment now. The knee and shoulder idea for posability is briliant. That's something new to me. So awesome.

This...is...BRILLIANT! There are too many awesome techniques used on Venom that I can't comment on each one. Love the technique for the spider on the chest and back, in particular.
