Quoting laprune laprune Hi. i'm french, sorry for my bad english. IVECO's truck don't have any V8 engines! they have the Cursor engines : 8, 9, 10, 11 or 13 Liters and all are 6 in-lines cylinders. I know that because i work in a firm of FIAT group where me made the CURSOR engine in France.
Don't worry I'm Italian so I have the same language problem. Bourbon-Lancy? I know it mounts only 6 in-line engines, I work for Iveco DVD, but, as I have answered a similar question a little further down on this page, the 6-in-line was a little too long, it would not have been impossible to insert it, but I'm lazy;-), and I prefer the V8.

Thank you all for the comments, unfortunately I have only one poor quality video (iPhone 3gs in the evening, too dark and noisy) Is possible to see only the cab tilting, the trailer lock, lights and suspensions...and honestly (shame on me) I do not know how to load it on the page.

Quoting Thomas Graafland Very cool work! I love all the functions you've put in and it looks very smooth and realistic. 5 smilies! BTW, I thought that the Stralis only came with a 6-in-line engine? Great job nonetheless!
;-) Yes, you're absolutely right, the 6-in-line was a little bit too long (but I think that is not impossible to put inside that kind of engine) and I prefer the 8V engine, thank you for the comment!!

Quoting Bernhard Mollema Excellent work.....do you have some detailed photo's of the drive / steering setup?
Unfortunately I have already disassembled the truck in order to another project. But I added a picture of the work in progress. It is the only one where you see something. I hope it could be useful to you.
