About this creation
Delivered in June 2012, Quint 17 operates a one-of-a-kind Ferrara Igniter II XD HD-77 dual axle quint. Only a handful of dual-axle HD-77s have been produced by Ferrara, with this one being the latest. Quint 17 is equipped with a 1500gpm pump, 1000g water tank with 150g Class A foam cell, and a full compliment of NFPA quint ground ladders and hoses. Also unique, Quint 17 wears a pair of silver steerhorns, which has become a tradition for all CLHFD aerials.
