EMS-002M Dominion Trooper
The Dominion Trooper, also known as the "Dom Trooper" or "Dom," is the first mass-produced Mobile Suit of the Eurasia Federation.
About this creation

The EMS-002M Dominion Trooper is produced by the Eurasia Federation. Surprisingly, the dominant superpower fielded them after the other two major superpowers, relying on their EMC-003T Overlord Mobile Core units as their primary offensive unit. The pilots of the Overlords were able to hold their own against enemy Mobile Suits, thanks to the MC's heavy armor and firepower. Several adjustments were made to the Dominion Trooper's abilities while the performance of other Mobile Suits was being observed. This data contributed to the Dominion Trooper, although being a first-generation Mobile Suit, to be easily adapted to combat newer Mobile Suits.

Much like its Overlord MC counterpart, the Dominion Trooper is heavily armored. Its legs are no exception.

The heavily armored legs house large vernier thrusters, which assist with the Dominion Trooper being highly agile despite its bulk and weight.

Additional thruster units are concealed in the back of the lower legs.

The developers of the Dominion Trooper decided to forgo skirt armor and instead added additional armor to the upper legs. This helped reduce the overall weight, eliminated moving parts, and still kept the vulnerable areas where the legs met the torso decently protected.

The torso was designed to dampen the effects of incoming fire through the use of angled armor plates. This armor is for more than just scary looks.

The lower arms.

Closeup of the head and shoulders. Due to the importance of the head unit, it was designed to be durable.

The shoulder mounted shields house large thrusters to aid in mobility.

The shields are very poseable and are able to be positioned in a number of positions.

The back of the Dominion Trooper.

The backpack unit is equipped with two large stabilizers to help balance the Mobile Suit. Although they are meant for stabilization purposes, they do offer some thrust capabilities.

The backpack is currently equipped with the A/T thrusters, which provide atmospheric flight and enough power for the Mobile Suit to take off from the ground without any external assistance.

For space, the A/T thruster units have been replaced with space thrusters. The lower weight makes the Dominion Trooper more agile in space than in an atmospheric environment.

The primary armament for the Dominion Trooper can trace its origins to the 20th Century AD.

The other side of the primary weapon system, showing the folding handle.

An alternate method of firing (instead of the traditional method) is to use the handle in the configuration shown above. This method is useful for suppressive fire tactics.

A large heat rod is mounted in the left shoulder thruster for melee combat. When activated, the metal in the rod heats up, making it an effective cutting weapon.

The backpack also contains a missile launcher that houses 32 missiles.

The missiles revealed.

A fire team of Dominion Troopers are preparing to open fire.

*Twitch's Remarks*
First off, thanks to Mithryl Altaire for the great frame that I simply cannot get enough of. It is a very versatile frame. Thanks also to Thomas Z and his MS-09II Rick Dom II, which helped with the creation of this build (mainly the lower legs and head).
This build was different for me in several ways. First, instead of making a trashy "quantity over quality" Mobile Suit for the EF (like what I did with their Mobile Core units) and then the quality one, I decided just to "be Russian" and make some big and cool. I have always wanted to do my own Dom MS, and this proved to be the perfect opportunity. The Dom is big, heavily armored, and very agile; thus it fit my requirements for a Russian-influenced Mobile Suit. I had just recently watched Dolores, i (Zone of the Enders OVA, FYI) again, and thought that the LEV would make a great Mobile Suit. As such the heavy armor and the backpack unit are LEV-influenced. Additionally, the way that the weapon is held also comes from the LEVs.
So why did I not continue with the EF trend of a trashy unit first, then a quality one better? If you have not taken a look at my Overlord Mobile Core unit, please do so. It is MUCH larger than any of the other MCs, and is not that much shorter than my Mobile Suits. I am sure that it could hold its own against the first-generation Mobile Suits.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 it s so impressive that you can cram a fig in there, and that you continue developping and taking the concept further, and more sophisticated on each version, top notch!
Thank you! I am working on some improvements for this since in my "story" this first-generation will be upgraded to contend with second-generation Mobile Suits, like adding skirt armor and beam weapons.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Interesting use of a LEV styled pack. Is this meant to be an aerial unit, or a ground pounder? ^Blub^
Thank you! It is meant to be both. Unlike my other Mobile Suits (excluding the Sylphion), this one can go from aerial to ground without an equipment swap. The same goes for the space configuration to colony interior. If that makes any sense.

Quoting Thomas Z. I always tought the Dom's head was more german looking(at least the Rick Dom II's head), but it works well with this model. An interesting design that's for sure, however, I think it needs skirts, a Dom without askirt is a bit odd, for me at least. The color is another thing that looks good, but i advise using either the darker sand brown, or the normal dark brown. Anyways, great work!
I agree that the head does look more German, especially in bricks. I may mess around with skirt armor later on, but at the time I did not find a design that I really liked that went with the bulky legs. For the color, since I only use the regular LDD theme and not Extended, the reddish-brown was the only brown that had all of the pieces that I was looking for. But thank you very much for the feedback!

Quoting Klushots (Formerly Me23456789) That "much better connection" coincides with whenever you get stateside, right? By the way, I don't think I ever thanked you for your service. So thank you for your service!
Yes it does, and thank you!

Quoting LTE MOCer Nice! I like the AK! It does seem Russian.
Thank you! That is what I was aiming for with this, and I am very glad that someone can look at this and see that.

Quoting Klushots (Formerly Me23456789) Instant Russian: just add AK! And don't worry about mentioning me or not mentioning me. I just like it's implementation.
"Just add an AK." "Why?" "It is Russian!" I find that it is just generally polite to add where ideas came from. I would have edited my *Twitch's Remarks* section, but my internet connection right now is not that friendly for that. But soon I will have a MUCH better connection. Yay!

I forgot to mention that the idea for an AK-type weapon system came from Klushots when we were discussing ideas over on the Elite Mechaniers forums.
