Quoting Brandon tamplain This is awesome, and just so you know, I'm totally stealing your design. E.I. operatives are raiding your production facility at this very moment.
Thank you Brandon. Go right ahead, we'll be serving punch and pie on the Lido deck at noon. Bring a friend. XD The Mouse would fit in well with your racing Valkyrie, probably give her a run for the money too. ;)

This is outstanding, and the design is just begging for cool variants in both color and payload. You should consider a building a diorama for this bad boy, you've clearly got the requisite skills. I also like your write-up on your main pag, good stuff!

Thank you Keith. That is highly encouraging coming from someone I consider to be a true master at dioramas! I'm bouncing some ideas in my skull to use this guy as a basic platform to expand upon. I'll see what happens. And thanks for taking the time to read my homepage. I honestly was in my own world until I found Mocpages. I'm pretty clueless, but I'm enjoying the ride. =)

Quoting Halhi 141 Excellent design! I like the use of the Bionicle pieces, so rarely do I see them outside of Bionicle builds, and even more rarely do I see them used so effectively.
Thank you Halhi. As soon as I got the wings and engine frame parts, I knew exactly where they were going. Same with the intake pods. It all sorta came together of its own accord. Truly fun on multiple levels.

Quoting Michael Rutherford Very cool! Your design makes me want to build an entire cluster of tall buildings for these things to fly between! Blade Runner style! The overall shape is my favorite part. It "Wants" to be flown around. Well built and well presented. Attack!
Thank you Michael. Zippy was the goal. I figured that if my wife was constantly catching me swooshing, it ought to be something worth swooshing with. Or, did I just admit to pure insanity. who cares? SWOOSH!!!

Quoting Mister Lego ~ Cool ship, I like those fold out wings! Mind checking this out if you've got some time, http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/359488
Thank you Mister. The wngs were fun, TWO modes of swooshing. =] BTW I did check out your mech, liked it, and commented on it. It's down near Tim C's comment. Good stuff, keep it up!

The three "C"s of pure fun, or at least insanity, happy to oblige. Thank you Topsy.

Quoting Vega Of Mars The folding wings really make this model! They fit so perfectly in the folded position you'd never know they were there. Also, I like the color-- orange is so rarely used.
Thank you Vega. The wings were really simple and fun. I am deffinitely a fan of Lego orange. I hope to use it more often on future builds. In fact, the main color for my captain on the Ecosse is orange. Love it.

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 pretty amazing! these are the kinds of pieces that I d love in a city moc, flying between buildings, fantastic! the play of wings, by movement, and positionning, is great, the decals elevate it s look too, but, the lines are the finest! bravo!
Thank you for those kind words Cyberfrank. I am kinda proud how this little guy turned out. He has a healthy ammount of swooshability. I can't even hide it from my wife anymore. She just kind of looks at me funny when I am holding the ship even though I swear I wasn't swooshing. =] But, I probably was.

Quoting Pieter Vanden Meersschaut Nice! Great use of colour since a lot of spaceships here are mostly plain grey. Love the orange!
Thank you Pieter. I kinda like Lego orange. It seems important but not ostentatious.

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Speedy looking flyer! Love how it makes good use of the wing elements and the parts with stickers. Awesome! ~Cheers
Thanks Marc. I thought the big "scoop" stickers would look good for a zippy, little Vic, but I wanted this guy to fit into the Ecosse. I think I'll try to use them and the wings later on. I kinda dig the combo.

Quoting David Alexander Smith Snap out wings, beautiful. I agree with Nick, your home page tells many an AFOL's tale of woe and joy.
Thank you David. The wings were actually pleasingly simple (for a change!!!) As for our shared tale, I am truly amazed and in awe at the familiarity of the collective story. Exploring all the pages I have been able to so far, just looking for ideas or techniques, I think that I hit "pay dirt" with a home.

Quoting Nick Barrett Beautifully designed - love those wings! I've just read your home page, which sums up the whole AFOL thing perfectly. I feel the same.
I'm humbled Nick. Your Mini still requires a full ear to ear grin just thinking about it! I'm new here, and just getting my feet wet, but I feel very welcome in this congregation of fellow AFOLs. As for the Mouse, just pure swooshable fun. I think my wife saw me swooshing. awkward. =]

Quoting S.K. Canuck I love the look of this little guy. The decals do a lot for the overall look. The retractable wings are inspired. Great Job!
In this case, inspiration comes from desperation. I had to get the ship to fit through some cargo bay doors (coming soon.) Thank you for the compliment!
