Optimus Prime (Custom Version)
So, here's my 2nd Moodland scale Transformer: Optimus Prime (Custom Version)! Fully transforms from robot to vehicle and back without adding or taking away parts (besides his gun). I'm fairly happy with the design, although I really want to build a minifig-scale Optimus at some point. As always, please RATE and COMMENT! :)

Quoting Raymond Drum Excellent moodland scale build! You seem to have building that size with detail down to a science there. How full are those shelves by now? Assuming you don't disassemble them.
Thanks! Unfortunately, because of lack of parts and no shelf space to speak of, none of my builds stay together past the photographing stage.:(

Quoting Chris Phipson Don't see too many Cybertronian versions of Prime out there. Nicely done dude! ~ Chris.

Quoting Wes Pitter The robot mode is nicely proportional, and makes a convincing Prime, but I'm not sold on robot mode. The angled cab is clever and very much in the Cybertron style, so it works, but I feel like I have to stare at it to figure out what is what. I think the arms would need to be more integrated into the final look to be completely convincing. That said, it's a fantastic T-former at this scale!
Thanks for the thorough critique! I agree, the vehicle mode is a bit clumsy. I'll probably revisit this guy some time in the future. Thanks again!

Quoting Mike McCooey My first reaction was "Awww so cute :)" I mean that in a good way of course. This would make great Tv series kind of like muppet babies! They drink emerging out of little bottles and such. Ok terrible idea, still nice work Mr.swim!
Ha! Well "cute" wasn't really what I was goin for but thanks!

Thanks! You're actually the first person to say you like the wheel style.

Quoting andros tempest Prime's always lend themselves well to this scale because the transformation engineering is so simple. The vehicle mode reminds me of Energon Prime, but is still a clever interpretation of the FOC version. Robot mode is great, though the head is a little disappointing Moodswim, not to your usual standard. Overall a great achievement at this scale, and most likely the inspiration for Optimus's (Optimi?) to come. Well done. Is it just me though, but does anyone else think the wheels on the back of the legs look like buttocks?
Thanks so much for the in-depth comment! I agree that the head mode is not up to my usual standard, but the original design I had, while cool-looking, was too bug and out of proportion with the body. I had to scale back the design and sacrifice some details. I hadn't even thought of that, but the back wheels DO look like a bum! HA!

Quoting MCLegoboy ! It looks a little funny transformed, but it works. I like Chris Roach's comment. I never watched the show, but I can picture some of the promos for it. I suppose it does fit the style. Anyway, whatever. XD Autobots; roll out!
Thanks! I'm actually not a fan of TF Animated, but I see the vehicle mode resemblence.
