8. Redesign a Classic Lego Set.
Choose any Lego set released in the year 2003 or earlier and redesign it. Add more details, change the minifigures, smooth it out more, do what you want to make it your own! On your entry page, provide the set number and name of the set you redesigned. If you need help finding a Lego set to remake or set name/number, the center column titled "Sets released in…" sorts Lego sets by year released: http://brickset.com/browse/
As soon as I saw this category, I thought of one thing...CASTLE! The CCCX had the same thing, so I decided to try and build another one, except better. :D I found this one, and Bingo! :D Enjoy!
I couldn't see a bottom in the Lego's picture, so I added my own. :D
And here is the actual set I based my recreated off of.

a bigger baseplate would have completed the scene better, but, you did well reproducing the trees to stay close to the tower, wich is magnificent, it s much better than the original, bravo! |

This is a gorgeous castle. The multi-toned water and leaves make for a optical buffet. I'm thinking you missed one aspect: playability. If I'm not mistaken, the original set opened up in back. I'm not seeing any reference to such an option in yours, so a potential 5 becomes a 4, but know I'm still a big fan. |

Excellent! I love all those masonry bricks and the use of tiles in the back. Of course, I understand piece issues, but I think continuing that trend throughout the whole tower would have looked incredible. Nevertheless, a fine job! Good luck! |
