Drift car
An attempt to create a LEGO car that's able to do some drifting. It features a soft front suspension and an unsuspended rear axle. Each of the rear wheels are driven by one XL motor.
About this creation
At first, it turned out that it was impossible to make the wheels slip no matter what gear ratio I tried. The linoleum floor in my apartment isn't slippery at all, therefor I used a little silicone spray. That really made the difference :)

Very neat! Pretty impressive that it can drift even on those really wide tires.

I like it already, without bodywork and seat in the middle, it looks like a big go-kart.

I don't know if I will do anything more to the bodywork, adding any weight will kill the performance completely. But I totally agree with you, it looks half finished.

Looks like fun (although now you have a lethal house to walk through! Maybe bring an unpopular elderly relative round...). Anyway, great engineering. The chassis really needs some body work though (is this coming?), so a 7/10 for now, but on the way to a 9 or 10 when it's done : )

Cool! Some bodyworks would've added a bit more to the vehicle, but it looks like great fun to play with! 5 smilies!
