7. Rube Goldberg machine.
Create a working contraption overcomplicating a simple task. Think of Rube Goldberg's crazy contraptions, the game Mouse Trap, or the Lego Great Ball Contraption. Show a video of your contraption working.

The OBLITERATOR
Function: Smash a Megabloks creation.
Steps: 16
Description: The ball rolls down the ramps and lands in a bucket. The bucket pushes the opposite end of the lift-arm up, knocking over a weighted arm. The arm drops, powering a piston which knocks over the planks. The planks knock the weight off the string, allowing a weight to free fall onto a motor switch. The motor turns on, allowing a cup to rotate, dropping a ball onto a track. The ball hits a tire, which knocks over a plank, landing on a missile trigger, launching the missile into a target, spinning gears, flipping a lift-arm into a second trigger, launching a missile into a weighted lift-arm, knocking the weight off, allowing the lift-arm to drop and smash a megabloks creation.
I think this is the hardest of all the categories. I spent almost a week building, and about two hours filming.

I'm with the other guys, any MOC that literally smashes mega blocks is fantastic. I was glad that you included a slow-mo in your video, the last few steps happen so quickly. I don't think the pretty-ness is an issue here, anyone who's worked in a make-shift factory knows hows out of place it can all look. 5 points from me, and this isn't really marble, it is all in the same colours. ~Thoy |

Oh man, that's awesome. If it looked prettier, this would have been a perfect 5, but you earned a solid 4 points! |

It's not the prettiest thing ever, but I love the number of steps and the variety of actions. I would have liked to see the action slow down a bit at the end, but it was still a lot of fun. 5 points from me. |

What's an Obiterator.

jokes aside, nice work Sam!
Thank you kindly. An Obiterator turns things into tiny pieces or "bits".
