Engine 1811 BlackBrick Creek's first due unit. It was purchased used from Battlebrick Heights and repainted the department's color scheme. This unit is a 1981 Ford C800 with bodywork done by E-One.
This rig features all hinged compartments, including high side compartments. There is also side mounted ladder storage. The department changed the cab lighting from a Code 3 lightbar to a single gum drop light and added an arrow stick to the rear. The engine has strobe body flashers and rear rotators, additional warning devices include Grover air horns mounted on the roof and a Federal Q2B siren. There is a rear compartment as well as tools mounted on the dog house in the open cab jump seats. The truck has a 1250 gallon per minute pump, a 750 gallon water tank, with foam being done through an inductor with five gallon pails. This rig was purchased for $5000.
I tried doing both the slated windshield and the flat style and I just like the look of the flat one much better.
