"The Tower of Baala-dur stands upon the ruins of what was once the Citadel of the Mages. Following the great battle between the Dark Elves and Mages, the Mages stood victorious amongst the ruins of their home. In the peace that followed, the Mages constructed the Tower of Baala-dur to watch over the land, and house the relics and resources they could scavenge from the Citadel ruins." I had a lot of fun making this one! I wanted to do something on an angle instead of the simple straight ahead view. There are two lower rooms, a bedroom and kitchen/living space, that are winged off the tower. The tower has 4 floors: library, relic storage, apothecary lab, and observatory; each pretty well decked out. Outside you can see what remains of the citadel's walls and statues. The three statues that stand side by side are of the great mages, creators of various orders. I could go on and on about this build, but check it out for yourself! Feedback would we welcomed and appreciated.

Quoting Ben Romeo This is a fantastic build, and a fine example that LDD is a legitimate MOC-ing medium. Looks like it has a ton of playability, if it were built with real bricks!
Hey Ben, thanks for the compliment! I really try to think of making things playable when I design them, simple because I ever where able to make them in real life, I would want to be able to play with them! LOL.

Quoting Sean Krake Awesome build! I love some of your techniques with the new bricks. I love the candle! I also like the tower, the architecture makes it feel a bit like orthanc. We need more builders like you!
Thanks!

Quoting Martin Geistefeldt Awesome! Love the mixture of military and civilian architecture here. The atmosphere it's got to it is great, too. Although the name Baala-Dur sounds a bit uninspired ;P. Keep it up!
All the inspiration went into the build, lol. I struggle naming my builds, if you can come up with something better I will totally accept it! LOL
