Ford GT
Yeaaaah, MOCers! welcome to my 8th 14-wide real car, the GT, with colors that Ford Would never use on it. And I would put white or black stripes IF I had the bricks. As the people that usually check my models know, this one was made with only the Ferrari F430 Set plus some extra bricks. It was veeeery difficult to make, I hope you like the result of 5 days of work. Check it out:
About this creation
My Lotus Esprit V8, destroyed, so I could build this american car.

Here we go, overall view:

front:

side:

rear:

I tried, I tried, I tried, I tried, I tried and I tried. But I didn't get right on the doors. Only the side part of the door open, unlike the real model, that has part of the roof integrated to them.

Sorry for this mistake, but with the bricks I have it was just impossible!

Seats. I have left the studs appearing to simulate the looking of the real car. the real GT has some circles in the seats.

Console. In everything of this car I tried to make like the real one.

Smooth base and pedals.

The hood opens too...

...this time like in the real car! :D

Engine detail:

In the front...

Frontal trunk!

space for some stuff here.

Frontal air intakes:

The fuctions aren't over. it does have...

...Pull back function in the rear wheels! :P

hood and trunk.

all open.

all closed.

Details:

I think that lighs are my favorite part!

If you remove the rear wheels...

You'll find brake disc and caliper!

detail:

Damn, I forgot to take pictures with Noemi!

The front looks amazing :) though one thing for the future, I would focus on the side profile of your cars as well :) great model though

Its a shame that you don't have more pieces, I would love to see what you would do with them. This car is packed with all the details I could possibly ever ask for. The hood, in my opinion, is the best part. Great job on this model, and keep up the good work!

Quoting Lego Builders Nice! I like the way you did the headlights, it looks nice. The side profile seems a bit off, and the side air intake seems like an "after thought." Yes, the doors are hard, but not impossible, even with relatively common pieces. So while it's recognizable, there are parts that could be improved (also building "complete" rear wheel arches would make this a better MOC). 3.5/5 :-) -LB Jr.
Do you think that? I took 5 days to build this, I really tried to make like in the right shape. Anyway, thanls for your feedback :D

Very good! I really like the headlights and the engine detail but it's a shame that you don't have the right pieces to make the roof cut out when the doors open. Great looking GT anyway!

Very nice work especially on the opening engine cover. I hear your pain on the doors - I have built a GT 40 (in Alan Mann same colours) and the doors took me an age to do and I am still not really happy with them. Firas is a genius, I am not. Love the lights.

Very good - those doors would be hard to do, whatever pieces you had.

Very spiffy, looks pretty accurate. The back is especially good. Do I see 4 not-Lego bricks in the engine bay on either side of the engine?

It's a good compact design. From what I've seen it looks like a Ford Gallardo.

Interesting color combination... Actually this looks pretty cool! Apart from the doors almost every detail is on and the engine is perfect! And I like that you hide a pull back motor in your cars! :)
