Figless. It's hard to tell because of the white background, but I built some clouds at the base. Thus, the portion of Mount Olympus that is portrayed is the part that extends above the clouds.
Due to the SNOTted base, the rockwork gave me some trouble. To make it easier, I built all the rocks on a baseplate, but then I had to take it off the baseplate, which was tricky. I ended up having to completely rebuild the right side!
This creature/tentacle/claw is my favorite. It's design was inspired by this piece, which I found while searching through my black parts. The connection gave me some trouble. I didn't want it to be able to open and close, so I couldn't use the piece that normally holds it. Instead, I used this, which worked nicely.
Zeus was another tricky part. I've never worked in this scale before, so it proved to be quite a challenge. In particular the arms gave me a lot of trouble. In the end I decided to use some technic angle connectors. They are quite rare in tan and white, but luckily I had a few.
just want to add clarification to this Your build was awesome I loved the rock work and the figure but you opponent take on the catagorie was more accurate and and I loved his under working of the city such as the water falls so in the end thats what won my vote [just wanted to explain my choice and not leave you wondering]
