I decided to aim for a more nightmarish interpretation of creepy crawlies rather than taxonomically accurate bugs. Naturally these critters are life-sized and resistant to bug-spray.
Some regular spiders to fill out the ranks
The fearsome Arachnikomas, known for their venomous bites.
Luckily there's only one of these. Swarms of Terrormites are capable of reducing trees, houses and unfortunate animals to dust in mere minutes.
Somewhat ironically, the Terrormite's expression was coined as the "Homemaker smile".
The dreaded Maulerpede measures over 2.5 feet long, and can reach alarming speeds in pursuit of prey. Despite its many legs, it glides across the ground completely soundlessly. When you hear its vile hiss, its already right behind you.
Within the animal kingdom and even among fellow bugs, Maulerpedes do not rank highly in the lovable face category.
Sweet build, Nick. I like all three builds. They are all perfectly creepy. My favorite is, (probably not surprisingly), the maulerpede. I judged it on which one made me jiggle the most in my seat. It was that one;) Great work and good luck in the MA.
Right on! The shapes are great, but the use of orange trim really brings these guys to another level. The quality of the photos is also quite good. It's so hard to photograph black, but you did it perfectly here. Very cool and very creepy! Attack!
