Early explorations of Foogara-7
About this creation
Category: Alien Landscape.
2013 MocAthalon
Team Jigsaw

With recent breakthroughs in Binary space travel, the frontier of space was astronomically widened. A new age of exploration has begun, with many civilisations racing to find and claim new planets.

Analysis of preliminary scans indicated that Foogara-7 was a hostile and lifeless planet due to the poisonous Chlorine air and noxious swamps. However, an accidental secondary scan revealed a myriad of flora covering the planet surface, somehow able to survive in the seemingly uninhabitable environment.

Immediately, a scientific team was assembled, and the exploration of Foogara-7 began...

Most of the scientists stay by the ship initially, setting up atmospheric instruments and recording devices.

While a scouting team checks the surface for any organic threats. A thick layer of toxic mist covers the planet, so respiration helmets are required.

The flora comes in all shapes and sizes, but they do not appear to contain the same green chlorophyll that is found in Earth plants. Remember to take samples for further analysis.

Poor microfig getting bullied by the giant natives. D:

I wanted to fill the swamp with mist, but I wasn't able to get an even spread across the large area. There will be a next time though! (The swamp is made from background cards of the Halloween Accessory Set.)

You put the average building skill of us kiwis through up quite a few notches. It'd be a crime to give you less than 5. Grats on ANOTHER perfect score! ~Thoy

the little mech suit is great and some of the plants are very well designed, especially the one that looks like a giant (well more giant than normal) rafflesia
