Alliance Navy Legacy Class Supercarrier
This is the Legacy Class supercarrier. She is the crown jewel of the Alliance Navy and the heart of any main battle fleet.
About this creation
Stats:
Carries over 250 medium fighter bombers and 75 helicopters.
Cruises at 28 knots
Has two nuclear reactors for power

The Legacy class supercarrier has two runways. You can see them clearly here.

On the stern, it has a 5” dual cannon, mostly used for warning shots. The mere sight of this ship can scatter most expeditionary fleets. It also has 26 cruise missile silos on board. 18 of which can be seen here.

The ship has three helipads. Each one has a circular elevator in the center of it. Most carrer based helicopters need to fold their rotors to fit up the elevator.

The bow bears the same 5” dual turret as the stern. The other 8 cruise missiles are found here.

The ship bears 20 20mm anti-aircraft chainguns on its sides. It also has two more sets of 5” turrets. From here you can get another look at the runway and at the two pairs of circular elevators that service the ends of the runways. Several fighters can be stacked at the end of each runway and up to 4 squads (5 planes each) can be launched in quick succession.

lastly, the ship has a rear slipway for deploying small boats, hovercraft, and any other landing or fast attack vessels it can carry.

A modified variant of this may have less cruise missiles to add another set of elevators at the rear and pods under the edges of the runway may drop something (mines, small attack subs, I won’t say . . .)

This is much more practical as a carrier with the 2 runways on the deck and less giant weaponry. Good job, and I hope I never see one of these! You could carry plenty of aircraft to blow ships out of the water or destroy just about anything.

After a thorough evaluation, I have decided that 20mm is too small. YOu wouldnt be able to see a 20 dual turret on here. What you can see are 40mm with flak rounds.

Quoting Matthew McCall First off, it's clear you put a lot of work into this from the detail I see. Anyway, while it looks great in the cover photo, it seems oddly curved/fat in the top view, which at least to me isn't aesthetically pleasing (and I'm pretty sure not a good hull shape either).
There is no good view of the hull here. I think if I had one, I wouldnt have to explain this. I will upload one later. There is a lot of deck overhang there. The hull itself is rather well shaped. It is 4 wide at the base and rises with 2x3 inverted slope bricks to a total of 2 bricks high from baseplate to deckplate. It isnt a narrow V but it is fairly aerodynamic (this isnt the right word, hydrodynamic is I think). I would encourage you to download the LDD file and look at the underside. If you do, let me know if you think thats better. About the fatness. That has to do with the fact that I wanted the two runways to be parallel. It also has to do with the need for elevators on the side of the flight deck.
