I like how much of this is built from "proper" bricks and not modern big chunks. The bucket on the back has some great angles and looks very smooth nonetheless. I also like all of the functionality that you've crammed into this mini-fig scale build and how that's achieved with "proper" cogs and racks. I've supported your big truck on Cuussoo but I wonder if models of this size might be a bit more realistic price-wise to be issued as a Lego kit?
Good old rack and pinion mechanisms ! The tilting rear suspension bars remind me of the arrangement on a model I used to have from the Lego space range - 6295 from 1988 according to Peeron - great application. Very well styled as well !
hi nick well you just keep building these fabulous dump trucks you know what my next comment is (cuusoo) so your other truck isnt lonely lol would like to see you build a heavy haul truck to transport these monsters well done as always
aw, nick, you make me wish I was finished with meedass, lol, I have those cool wheels now, would I love to see this truck on my roadplates, lol, the comparative pic is supercool too, love it! cant help but, thinking how great a sandy layout would enhance the flavour of those beauties, or my construction site, lol, well done nick!
