17. In the Inn.
Build an inn set in a medieval fantasy world. Think "Prancing Pony." This can be just an interior, or you can build the whole thing.
The Cyclops's Head Inn
My father inherited this poor land from his father and his father before him. Once it was a quaint Inn, in a more friendly time, when decent folk used to come. It was quite nice, but now our Inn is almost forgotten by most, except a few odd folk, knights and lords who like to come with some poor lass from the great cities and spend a night or two. They pay in gold and silver so we won't tell no one we've seen 'em. In a few more years me and my father will have enough gold to buy ourselves a fine house and rank. My father has hopes of marrying me to a fine knight, if only my mother was here, but alas she ain't. My only worry is of my father's loose tongue, for I fear some knaves will hear of our small horde and the bastards will slit our throats and take it for themselves. On my next journey to market, I'll buy a spell and bury our treasure on the night of the next full moon, somewhere my father won't know about.
Sir Barrows Of Cherdwek Story:
As Barrows got out of the small bed, the cold morning air bite his body. He quickly pulled on his trousers, weaved by slave girls from the far eastern cities, they were quite fine. He needed to return to the capital, helping kill the king was no small thing, especially when he was survived by two sons who were hunting in the north. He also feared his wife, the honorable lady Caroline knew about Lilly. For the night before last as they supped, she spoke most passionately about Lord Drakeheart who had been seen frequenting several whore houses. She told him if she could have her way, he should be drawn and quartered for dishonoring his lady.
He feared that she was warning him, since she was most clever, more clever than a woman should be. He heard behind him a yawn, and a loud creaking of the bed as Lilly sat up. "Will I see you again soon my love?" Barrows thought a moment, might as well tell her, "No I fear I won't be able to see you again for some time. I have important business to see to." It came out slightly harsher than he meant. "I see," she said somewhat crestfallen. "Worry not girl, I'll gift a bag of coin to you so you can live comfortably." "I don't want your coin! I see now that you just used me. I hope one day you see that money won't get you everything!"
"I did not use you girl, but I fear that my life is in danger, and I must not see you for some time." She said nothing. I'll ask her hand once I become king, thought Barrows to himself. She wouldn't be very good in court, but she does have a large heart.
As you can see the second floor is removable. :)

Thanks for looking I hope y'all like it!
Tell me if you like the stories. I am going to do a medieval fantasy series in a few months with this tone and style of building. Although I'll do one dimensional shots instead of dioramas.
