Legend of Zelda WIP 2 Wedding Cake Topper
Update on my progress in building the wedding cake topper for 2 gaming nerds!
About this creation
Zelda’s skirt panel decal has been revised and pieces have been glued. The cake size, flavors, icing, and other ornaments have been selected. Actually, the topper is now completed! Unfortunately, you will all have to wait a bit until after the wedding before you can view the whole MOC! Stay tuned! :)

Quoting Steve The Squid Hope you get this comment in time! You can upload your pictures to brickshelf instead of mocpages. After you upload them, click on the picture, then click on it again, and copy the url. Then paste that URL into the chunk of code that mocpages uses for pictures on all mocs, and replace the 'imgsrc=http://"blahblahblah";' part with the URL you just copied. That way you can post today, avoiding the broken uploader! This also works for flickr.
I just saw this today, thanks for your kind suggestions! As you probably saw by now, I did do what you suggested! I really do like this site... even with its shortcomings! It just seems like Sean has found greener pastures to play in and is no longer interested in the pages. It is a shame tho... I feel like I am witnessing an aging dinosaur slowly and painfully dying! Oh well, life goes on! :/

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 ok, I understand about the cake-whole piece, about zelda zuccini, it s so rare and exclusive parts, that I can t reproduce her, I asked because I could see that I could reproduce the zelda of this piece, lol, but. I don t know the character, never having played the game...i m sure you d help.
I have only watched briefly someone playing the game. So don't know how much help I can be. In building the caketopper I researched alot of general pictures/info on the characters and game, but that is about the extent of my knowledge! I am really ignorant on the game dynamics/play! :/

Quoting Gale Winthrope Love how this has come. I'm sure that the couple will appreciate it :)
Yes, they both have degrees in engineering and played/built with LEGOS as kids. The Zelda Game (can't recall which one) is the first one that the groom-to-be introduced to the bride-to-be! :)

Quoting El Barto ! Lookin' good! Is the wedding going to be in costume?
No, but decorations will have a magic forest/elvish quality. :)

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 it s great! but, why is there no pic showing the whole piece? love the way you did the greenery, and the dining place has a lot of charm, say....would you like zelda to meet meedass? your wish is my command topsy...lol.
Can't show the whole pic yet in case anyone going to the wedding finds their way here. As to your other question... You have me a bit confused. I have envisioned two Zeldas in different builds and I am not sure which one you mean? One is my version of the Zelda from the Zelda Fantasy Games (& the one on the cake topper), the other is Zelda Zucchini. Ms. Zucchini can be found pictured with the builds whose links are below. It has always been my hope that one day I will do a story centered around the characters of the ‘Motley Villians of Crime’… Ms. Zucchini being the girlfriend of Steam Punkin’ and a childhood friend of Wacky Wanda. So you can see why I would really favor you using Zelda Zucchini! And many thanks for asking! :) http://mocpages.com/moc.php/346376 http://mocpages.com/moc.php/304895 http://mocpages.com/moc.php/343187

I can't wait to see it perched on the cake. I thinking gaming nerds and non-gaming nerds, and even people who aren't nerds at all are going to appreciate it.
