Here's a full view. I tried to make a classic Mario game vignette, as I ran out of time. This level is called "The Forest Fire".
And please note I cannot play 12+ games because I am 11. This is why I was shy to even see my opponent's entry.
Here's the Mario minifig. I made him as accurate as possible, but it came out wrongly. Keep your mouse over this picture for a few seconds for a surprise!
To get over the large fire pit, he'd need to go above the fire. That's why I attached a rope.
Although you didn't win yet, congratulations Montgomery. (I know your real name from your page!)
Okay, I know at this point my vote doesn't really matter, but I'll give it anyway as that is proper protocol. First off, excellent builds from both of you. I Me, your entry is great considering the time you had to put into it. I enjoyed the classic take and the rope and profile bricks were nice touches. Your opening shot was also quite good, and snagged my attention on the homepage right off. But we can't win them all (trust me, I've lost enough contests to know this myself). And while you put in a very strong effort, your opponent gets my vote. As has been said, be proud of what you managed to do in such a short time! Real life has a nasty way of getting into our building time, but you'll get it back somehow. Keep building!
Wow, super cool, and very accurate. The Mario minifig is very original; I never would have thought of using a hard hat on him. This is a great build, and the cloud background as well as the block part is very nice. Your opponent, however, had more details on his, and the build itself on his was a bit better, in my opinion. These two builds had amazing details. I'm having a really tough choice at the moment, going back ad forth between the two awesome builds. At the end, I had to give my vote to your opponent. This was a really tough decision. Know that before you react. So, keep your head high, as this was a really cool build. Plus, the other judges still have to vote! Good luck with them. Again, great job!
