Here is the eighth episode! I am so sorry for how long it took, but my school has been driving me up the wall. Anyway, this is the second to last episode of season four, meaning that the next one will be the season finale! As usual after seeing this, please go make choices, (if any) in the group. Enjoy!
About this creation
The demigods decide to split up. Some will stay and make camp. The others will scout the area for Nephtys' camp.
Soon the scouts find it.
Hector: "We should tell the others about this quickly."
They start to head off.
Nephtys: "Ah there they are, I was expecting them about now."
The demigods do not try to fight.
Nephtys: "You were wise to come here. There is a most unpleasant surprise in store for the rest of your friends."
Back with the others, they have gone to set up camp, but then sudenly...
They meet Nephtys' surprise: Talos
The demigods prepare themselves and charge.
Thankfully, the Carcinos has come with them.
The fight begins.
It is truly an amazing sight, seeing the Carcinos combat a foe thrice his size.
Seeing that their time has come, and that the Carcinos now needs help, the demigods attack in full force.
The son of Dionysus uses his powers,
and wraps weeds, and grape vines around Talos' leg.
The fight rages on, neither seeming to get the upper hand.
Talos picks up his handfuls of demigods, ready to kill them all.
Then something strikes Talos' head.
And he falls with a great thunder.
On his stomach, the thing that struck him lands.
Then the others see that it is Kendrick, Anastasia, and Joshua on a great eagle!
Joshua: "Shall we defeat this beast again my friend?"
Kendrick: "Aye we shall, and I will enjoy every moment of it."
Kendrick makes a spout of water come up from the ground.
It pours into Talos' eyes.
Then Joshua summons lightning from his hands and blasts it at the water.
The demigods take cover.
And Talos is no more.
Then to their horror, our friends see that Kriteos,
And Janos, were both killed during the fight.
Kendrick: "Now the we have handled him, we must go quickly."
Joshua: "The others who were scouting have not come back, we can assume that means they were captured."
Theophylaktos: "Where did this eagle come from?"
Joshua: "I was sure you would need us here, though I know not why, I prayed to my Father Zeus and he sent it."
Circe: "Unknown to you, there is already an Egyptian camp on my island. One of their goddesses, Hathor, the goddess of love, is here. I have used many spells and my other powers, but I am not strong enough to repel them. There is one way, though that I could."
"On the island there is a flower, a flower that, if I use it correctly, will give me more than enough power to defeat the Egyptians."
"But this flower is of course, guarded by Hathor, and I have not been able to retrieve it."
"Here then lies my proposition: If you get the flower for me, I will restore your friends to you. I warn you though. Hathor may be the goddess of love, but she can be far more deadly than any of the other Egyptians. Beware, do not let her smells even the slightest drop of blood. If she does, she will turn into Sekhmet, the goddess of lions and war, and she will become more powerful than Bast, or even Nephtys."
The demigods agree and are soon on their journey.
Soon they arrive at the spot Circe told them of.
Hathor: "Welcome demigods. I was expecting you. I know you are hoping to take this flower from me, but I can not let you do that."
Aethos: "Lady Hathor, if you will surrender us the flower, we will let you leave this island freely, but if not, we will defeat you, and you will be banished to the place you call the Duat."
Hathor: "I will not so easily surrender to you three. I may only be the goddess of love, but I will fight to my end."
Daniel: "Then end you will!"
Then Daniel finally is able to strike her head with his sword.
The demigods grab up the flower and run back to Circe's palace as fast as they can.
But they fail to notice a small bit of blood tricking from a wound from the tiger.
The demigods rush across the bridge.
But at the other side, they are dismayed to find Sekhmet waiting for them.
Sekhmet: "You may have defeated my other half, but now you all shall die!"
Then Sekhmet swipes at the bridge, cutting that half away.
Sekhmet: "Farewell demigod."
Then she cuts the second half of the bridge,
And Jackson falls.
Sekhmet: "And you are next."
Daniel: "You cannot win. We will destroy you no matter the cost!"
Sekhmet: "Those were disappointing last words," She steps up about to slit his throat.
Then a small spout of fire springs around her.
Aethos, *Panting* "Don't you dare kill him!"
Sekhmet breaks through the fire, and steps to Aethos.
Sekhmet: "Then you will die first."
Suddenly another spout of fire springs up between them.
Sekhmet: "End this son of fire! Or I will make your death far more painful!"
Voice: "No, no you won't."
Jackson: "But yours will be!"
Sekhmet: "How did this happen? You fell into the lava!"
Jackson: "He is not the only son of fire!"
Soon the flames engulf Sekhmet.
Aethos: "Here you are, we defeated Hathor, and Sekhmet to get it."
Circe: "Well done. I will restore your friends to you, as well as drive off any other Egyptians that are still here."
Circe: "And, I have one more gift for you."
